OTHER PROTOCOLS TO BE CONSIDERED The RI board recommends that officers at formal func-tions should be addressed according to protocol only once. Avoid the worst situation of seating a woman at the

end or edge of the table. Rotary pins are pinned to the left side of the collar

and other pins at the right side if wearing a Barong or Shirts while for coats, rotary pins are pinned to the left breast lapel.

If the club invite officers, past officers of RI or other Rotarians to come for other visit or events, the indi-vidual club is expected to pay the expenses. It also goes with other district functions, accommodations must be free.

The President is the highest official in a club even though the current Governor belongs to that club. Dur-ing induction, the President is the last person to be in-troduced and sits at No.1 seat, the DG sit at No.2 seat and the Incoming President occupy the No.3 seat “if” the District Governor is the Guest Speaker. OTHER DUTIES OF PROTOCOL OFF./ SGT. BEAUTIFUL GIRL by: Jose Mari Chan

Beautiful girl, wherever you are

I knew when I saw you, you had opened the door I knew that I’d love again after a long, long while

I’d love again. You said “hello” and I turned to go

But something in your eyes left my heart beating so I just knew that I’d love again after a long, long

while I’d love again.

Refrain : It was destiny’s game For when love finally came on

I rushed in line only to find That you were gone.

Whenever you are, I fear that I might Have lost you forever like a song in the night

Now that I’ve loved again after a long, long while I’ve loved again. *Repeat Refrain

Beautiful girl, I’ll search on for you ‘Til all of your loveliness in my arms come true

You’ve made me love again after a long, long while In love again

And I’m glad that it’s you Hmm, beautiful girl

Preventing your top 10 threats (...cont) By Mayo Clinic staff No. 2 - Cancer Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths among men — mostly due to cigarette smoking, according to the American Cancer Society. Lung cancer is followed by pros-tate cancer and colorectal cancer. To prevent cancer: Don't smoke or use other tobacco products. Avoid ex-

posure to secondhand smoke. Include physical activity in your daily routine. Maintain a healthy weight. Eat a healthy diet rich in fruits and vegetables, and

avoid high-fat foods. Limit your sun exposure. When you're outdoors, use sun-

screen. If you choose to drink alcohol, do so only in moderation. Consult your doctor for regular cancer screenings. Reduce exposure to potential cancer-causing sub-

stances (carcinogens), such as radon, asbestos, radia-tion and air pollution.

No. 3 - Injuries The leading cause of fatal accidents among men is motor vehicle crashes, according to the CDC. To reduce your risk of a deadly crash: Wear your seat belt. Follow the speed limit. Don't drive under the influence of alcohol or any other

substances. Don't drive while sleepy. Falls and poisoning are other leading causes of fatal acci-dents. Take common-sense precautions, such as using chemical products only in ventilated areas, using nonslip mats in the bathtub and placing carbon monoxide detec-tors near the bedrooms in your home.
