The City of Oberlin, Kansas, in accordance with the City Procurement Policy is requesting proposals for lawn maintenance and mowing of city-owned properties. These locations are as follows: City Park; Airport Lights and Right of Way; City Ball Fields; Boy Scout Park; North State Park; South State Park and Zodrow Park. More detailed information may be obtained by contacting Dan Castle of the Public Works Department. The independent contractor(s) selected would be responsible for providing all necessary equipment and personnel to effectively care for the lawn areas for the 2013 lawn maintenance season from April 1 to October 30. Proposals may include prices for each individual piece of property, all of them combined, or any combination of properties. Proposals must include contact information, price, resume of related work experience, at least two professional references, and a detailed list of equipment used by the contractor. Proposals should be submitted in a sealed envelope to Karen Larson, City of Oberlin, Lawn Maintenance Proposal, 1 Morgan Drive, Oberlin, Kansas, 67749.
