INSTRUCTIONS

1. The candidates have to appear for Written Test at the above mentioned centre/venue on the date

and time specified. No TA will be paid by the company for appearing in the written test.2. Candidates, in their own interest, should visit the venue one day in advance to confirm the

approachability and location of the venue. Late comers will not be permitted to appear in the testand no excuse shall be entertained for reaching the venue late on account of not being able tolocate the venue.

3. Request for change of centre/venue will not be accepted under any circumstances.4. Admission for the test will be strictly on production of Admit Card with photograph affixed on it. Only

those candidates who have uploaded their details in the online application format includingphotographs and signature can take the test. General and OBC who have paid the application feeson or before 10.4.2011 are only eligible.

5. Candidates should carry any of the following in original as proof of identity to be allowed to write thewritten test: - Voter Identity Card / Passport / PAN Card / Driving license / Credit Card issued bybanks with photo.

6. The candidates should bring blue/black ball point pen (and not Gel pen) for the test.7. Candidates are not allowed to carry any papers, notes or books, correction fluid, calculators, mobile

phones, electronic diary, alarm clocks, scanning device, writing pads, pencil boxes, beepers andcameras etc. in the examination hall. Any candidate found in possession of such unauthorizedmaterial or indulging in copying or adopting unfair means will be summarily disqualified.

8. Candidates shall not be allowed to leave the Examination Hall, for any reason, once the questionpapers have been distributed, till the end of the test.

9. The candidature for this test is provisional and subject to the candidates having passed thequalifying examination with the required percentage of marks by 30.6.2011 and meeting the othereligibility conditions as indicated in the Recruitment Advertisement No.04/2011 and requiredmedical standards. This letter should, therefore, not be construed as acceptance of the eligibility forrecruitment as a Management Trainee (Technical) in RINL/VSP. If at any stage it is found that the

candidate is not eligible for the test, his/her candidature will be summarily rejected.

10. Candidates short-listed on the basis of their performance in the written test will be displayed on ourwebsite www.vizagsteel.com on the link Careers on or after 30th May, 2011.

Instructions to the Candidate (regarding Question Paper):1. Mark carefully your Roll Number and the Series of the paper on the OMR Answer Sheet and sign

at the appropriate place. Write your Roll number on the Question booklet..2. Strictly follow the instructions given by the Centre Supervisor / Room Invigilator and those given on

the Question Booklet.3. Candidates are not allowed to carry any papers, notes, books, calculators, cellular phones,

scanning devices, pagers etc. to the Examination Hall. Any candidate found using, or in possessionof such unauthorized material, or indulging in copying or impersonation or adopting unfair means,is liable to be summarily disqualified and may be subjected to penal action.

4. The test is of objective type. This Question Booklet contains a total of 200 questions and the totaltime allotted is 2 hours 30 minutes. The written test consists of 2 parts:Part-I DomainPart-I AptitudeCandidates need to qualify in both the Parts. Qualifying marks in each Part shall be 50% for Genand OBC candidates and 40% for SC/ST candidates.

5. The candidates must check that the Question Booklet has 200 questions with multiple choiceanswers, 100 questions on Domain & 100 questions on Aptitude. If any discrepancy is found,immediately report to the Invigilator for change of Question Booklet.

6. Each objective question is followed by four responses. Your task is to choose the correct responseand mark your response on the OMR Answer Sheet and NOT on the Question Booklet.

7. Completely darken the Oval so that the alphabet inside the oval is not visible. Darken ONLY ONE

OVAL for each answer as shown in the example below. The CORRECT method and the WRONGmethod of darkening the Ovals on the OMR sheet are given below:

8. Please mark the right responses ONLY with a Blue/Black ball point pen (and not Gel pen).9. All questions are COMPULSORY. There will be no NEGATIVE MARKING.10. In view of the tight time span, do not waste your time on a question which you find to be difficult.

Go on solving questions one by one and come back to the difficult questions at the end.11. Answer Sheets will be processed by electronic means. Hence, invalidation of the Answer Sheet

due to its folding/wrinkling or putting of stray marks on it or due to any other damage to it as well asincomplete / incorrect filling of the answer sheet, will be the sole responsibility of the Candidate.Rough work MUST NOT be done on the OMR answer sheet. Use your test booklet for rough work.

12. The Admit Card and the answer sheet will have to be surrendered to the invigilator after the test.Question papers can be retained by the candidates.

13. The answer key will be provided on the next day of the written test.

14. In case of any disagreement, the candidates may send their responses to the Answer Key by
