Futuristic Swaging Technology!

RAS presents two intelligent swaging systems. They actually „learn“ as you swage and flange. When you’re ready to produce the first workpiece in a job, just press the „Auto-Teach“ function. The control automatically memorizes when, and how you set the upper wheel or change the rotation of the wheels.

Swaging Machine

When you insert the next work-piece, the system automatically „clones“ the entire operation. The machine operator only has to lead the workpiece, and regulate its speed with the footswitch. You can store several part pro-grams, so that you can run these parts again in the future.

Ramp It Up … The Machine Can Handle It!

Feel free to crank the system up to full bore. The unique RAS „Outlook“ function anticipates, when you’re going too fast before the rotation direction changes, and the machine automatically lowers the rotation speed.

Precision And Power … New Swaging Standards!

The heavy duty motor that drives the upper and lower wheels virtually guarantees perfectly synchronous runs. And the wheels themselves are made of case hardened steel and run on needle bearings. This means top quality machining and long lasting accuracy.

Precision measurement … for maximum repeatability!

A measuring system precisely records the path that the sheet has covered between the wheels. This is critical to assure that every setting of the upper wheel will be performed at the same time, so that the best quality is maintained on all runs.

Divided Stop Plate

The oversized stop plate is made of a high-tensile material. It’s machined face plate meets even the most stringent guidelines. The divided stop can be used for nearly all wheels. In addition, other stop plates are available.

Setting Made Easy

A convenient hand lever allows positioning of the lower wheel, so that both wheels are preci-sely positioned over one other. A clamping mechanism assures that the shafts stay in position.

Multi-Function Foot Switch

The Multi-Function Foot Switch for right-left-run or upper wheel adjustment. This affords the operator to lead the workpiece with both hands at all time.
