I – HOW DOWNLOADING « TRUSTEER RAPPORT » ?

Trusteer Rapport is a safety software that protects online banking communications. This

securing is done by protecting internet connection of the user and by setting a secured

communication tunnel with the online bank site. The application stops fraud attempts on the

user’s account (recovering of password, banking card number, fake sites Société Générale

etc…). For the downloading, kindly follow these steps :

1 – Connect yourself to SOGEBENIN (https//www.sogebenin.com) and click on the button

TRUSTEER SAFETY in the main menu

2 – Click on the button « Download Trusteer for your MAC or PC »

3 – Have patience till the end of the downloading.

II – HOW INSTALLING « TRUSTEER RAPPORT » ? PC Version

To install TRUSTEER RAPPORT for your PC, kindly follow these steps below :

1 – Open the file « Rapportsetup.exe » that is just downloaded (1a for Google Chrome and

1b for Internet Explorer).

2 – click on the button « Execute » if the warning window is displayed and then on OK.

3 – Tick the case « I accept clauses… », then click on « Install » to start the installation.

4 – Click on the button « Complete » to achieve the process ; a new page is opened in your

browser ; confirm the installation.

III – HOW INSTALLING « TRUSTEER RAPPORT »? MAC Version

To install TRUSTEER RAPPORT for your PC, kindly follow these steps below:

1 – Open the file « RapportSetup.exe » that is just downloaded.

2 – Double click on the file « Rapport.pkg » that is just downloaded.

3 – Click on the button « Continue »

4 – Click again on the button « Continue »

5 – Click on « Accept » to confirm

6 – Click on the button « Install »

7 – Click on the button « Close » ; your installation is completed.

IV – WHICH VISIBLE CHANGES IN THE BROWSING ?

At the starting of TRUSTEER RAPPORT installation, you will notice the apparition of an icon

in the bar of the browsing. The icon is green to inform you that the site is protected, on the

contrary, it is grey.

V - HOW PROTECTING A SITE WITH TRUSTEER RAPPORT ?

To protect a site with TRUSTEER RAPPORT, kindly follow these steps below :

1 – Open the site to be protected in the browser.

2 – Click on the icon « Trusteer Rapport » in the address bar

3 – Click on the button « Protect this site ».

4 – The icon « Trusteer Rapport » becomes green to indicate that the site is protected.

VI – ZOOM ON THE CONSOLE TRUSTEER RAPPORT

1 – The console TRUSTEER RAPPORT is a dashboard that allows to :

configure the application

have :

- a weekly summary of the software activity

- an oversight on the reliable sites and sensitive sites

- a help and assistance related to the application

To open the console, follow these instructions :

a – Click on Start to enter in the menu

b – Click on All the programmes

c – Click on Trusteer Safety of access points

d – and finally open the console by clicking on Console of Trusteer Safety of access

points

2 – The dashboard of TRUSTEER RAPPORT is presented as follows :

a – State and parameters of operation

b – Number of actions conducted by the tool

c – Help and assistance

VII – ALERT EXAMPLE OF TRUSTEER RAPPORT

TRUSTEER RAPPORT interacts with you when it screens a browsing/ use of your banking

card on a suspicious site.

Here is an example of window that « Trusteer Rapport » can display :

VIII – HOW UNINSTALLING TRUSTEER RAPPORT PC VERSION ?

To uninstall the application TRUSTEER RAPPORT, kindly follow these steps below :

1. To uninstall the tool, click on Start and then on Configuration board

2. Click on the link Uninstall a programme

3. Double click on the software TRUSTEER RAPPORT

4. Click on the button Yes

5. Have patience till the end of the deletion

6. Click on the button Continue

7. Click on the link No Thanks unsinstall now

8. Capture the displayed characters in the indicated field and complete by clicking on

Stop

IX – HOW UNISTALLING TRUSTEER RAPPORT MAC VERSION

1. Click on your « Finder »

2. Go to « downloading », then double click on « Rapport.dmg »

3. Double click on « Uninstall Rapport »

5. Click on « Yes, Uninstall Rapport »

6. Click on « OK »
