SPECIFICATIONSAN/PRS-11AThe AQYR AN/PRS-11A was originally developedunder the Air Force SBIR program and won a 2007 Defense Acquisition Challenge award sponsored by SPAWAR.

The GBS portable receive suite revolutionizes the way warfighters operate. It brings commandcenter information to the operational combatteams or to the individual warfighter where theyneed it most.

The ultra-lightweight, compact design deliversmuch needed capabilities to support full- spectrum operations. The system operates overmilitary-owned Ka-Band satellites, which provideboth low cost (no satellite access fees) and incredibly wide bandwidth over Worldwide Global SATCOM (WGS) satellites. The rapid setup, short signal acquisition time, and simple userinterface enables warfighters to deliver precisionstrikes to the enemy while negotiating dangerousnon-linear battlefields.

Built combat tough, the portable GBS receive suite is modular and scalable making it adaptablefor operations specific to any mission, as well asongoing operations outside-the-wire. It is idealfor use in low-visibility or urban terrain operationswhere traditional satellite dish technology is too high-profile. The AN/PRS-11A is compatible withHAIPE.

The AN/PRS-11A supports up to Top Secret communications, for information to keep teamssafe and reduce collateral damage. The KA-PRS- 60 Portable GBS Receive Suite by AQYR is thenew combat force multiplier. It contributes to combat team modernization, helps the warfighterwith situational awareness to dominate terrain and win battles, but more importantly, it improves survivability by delivering unparalleled bandwidthfor Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) and Full Motion Video (FMV).
