CAN YOU SEE ARENAL?The visibility depends on the
weather conditions but on a clearday our visitors can experience a
top quality view from our Mirador(20-min hike) of the Arenal Volcano.
DO YOU ALLOW PETS?We do not allow pets to accompany
guests at Rancho Margot. Thereare ve well-behaved dogs on the
premises, in addition to our horses,cows, pigs, chickens and wildlife.
HOW IS THE WEATHER?It is the rainforest. We expect rain
all year long. The driest month isApril, however it rains sometimes.
We typically experience warm daysand cool nights so pack accordingly.

FROM LA FORTUNA
1. Drive up the hill from downtown La Fortuna(Rte 142) toward the Arenal Volcano for ap-proximately 14 km2. At roughly 14 km from La Fortuna center turnLEFT onto the gravel road across from the policestation (look for signs directing toward ArenalVolcano National Park, SkyTram & Rancho Mar-
got)3. After approximately 5 km you will keep LEFTafter passing the Arenal Volcano National Park4. After crossing over the rst bridge, turnRIGHT in the direction of SkyTram & RanchoMargot5. Continue on this road until you cross over asmall bridge with speed-bumps that brings youinto El Castillo (you will be in front of the Schoolof El Castillo) and keep RIGHT on the main road6. Follow this road for approximately 3 km untilyou nd the entrance to Rancho Margot on theLEFT and Reception is at the end of road (400meters) on the left

After driving across the Arenal Dam, stay on themain road bearing left for approximately 3km and thenturn RIGHT onto the gravel road across from the policestation (look for signs directing toward Arenal VolcanoNational Park & Rancho Margot)3.
