Ramadan 1437/2016. Every Muslim around the globe is waiting for this blessed month to refresh his/her spirit and renew Iman. We thank Allah for blessing the Ummah of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) with this beautiful act of worship that uplifts both the individual and the community spirits. Ramadan is the month of forgiveness, mercy, assistance, care and sacrifice. We strive in it to show the best of ourselves to Allah and also show love to our fellow human beings. At Sayeda Khadija centre, we are very eager to receive hundreds of families coming to worship and break fast with us in this blessed month. We are looking forward to seeing many faces that we have missed over the year or the last few months and we pray that this Ramadan will be a much better opportunity than the previous ones to get closer to Allah and closer to one another in love, respect and appreciation. Al-Hamdulillah, this Ramadan 2016/1437 will be our eighth Ramadan insha Allah. Let us all make it a special occasion by making every day of it special. Please join us every night for Taraweeh and on every Saturday and Sunday for a community Iftar and send us your suggestions and comments so we can serve you better. Insha Allah, we will update you throughout this holy month with the progress we have made after the purchase of the new land and the future centre’s expansion. We are focused this month on paying off as much as possible of the community members’ interest-free loans (Qard Hasan) with your help and generous contributions. Last Ramadan we were able to give again over $150,000 to different charities to help the poor and the needy as well as the victims of natural disasters and wars. Please donate your Zakat in this blessed month for more rewards. Ramadan Kareem and Jazakumu Allahu Khayran!

RAMADAN 1437/2016 TARGET = $600,000 The Prophet (S) was the most generous of people and was even more generous during the month of Ramadan when Angel Jibreel (AS) visited him. Jibreel (AS) would meet with him (S) every night of Ramadan until the end of the month and the Prophet (S) would recite the Qur’an to Jibreel (AS). When Jibreel (AS) met him (S), he (S) would be more generous than a swift wind bringing rain. (Bukhari & Muslim)
