Raleigh aims to establish itself at the very height ofprofessional road racing again, 30 years after its 1980 Tourde France win, thus uniting its marketing and globalrange strategy, with an ambitious five-year plan.

Team Raleigh has registered an application for UCIContinental status and will be targeting the UK PremierCalendar road race, Tour Series and Elite criteriumswith the intention of securing an invitation to theTours of Britain and Ireland in the first year, all ofwhich have increased exposure on TV and are

taking racing to the heart of the British consumer.
