Contract : Involved in preparation of contracting out guidelines and control methods including all major project phases of project execution with domestic & international clients; Preparation of contracting strategies, pre-qualification programme; Contract evaluation, negotiations and clarification of contract terms both during pre and post contract award with domestic and international clients; Follow up work involving all aspects of post contract and claims analysis for the following major onshore /offshore development projects.

Procurement : Select the potential bidders lists based upon the nature of the job from the existing data regarding contracts maintained in a data bank and ensure prequalification status; Prepare and compile Tender Documents for tenders issued directly by the Department; Develop and prepare price schedules in line with agreed contracting strategies; Carryout the commercial bid evaluations; Coordinate and negotiate with vendors; Preparation of negotiation sheet; Price negotiation with Bidders; Price tabulation, price comparison sheet and analysis of project budget before placing any Purchase Order or Work Order; Preparation and making Sanction Request. Preparation and checking of Purchase Orders, Work Orders based on project requirements; Checking of Contractor’s Monthly Bills; Study and evaluate claims and change order requests in accordance with contractual obligations and advise on appropriate measures; Attend Daily/Weekly progress meeting with the client/consultant; Settlement of claims and assistance in post-contracting activities.
