Instruction of Tenders and Conditions for Qualification

1. The tender shall be received in two envelopes. Envelope A shall contains eligibility

qualifications and earnest money, the envelop B shall contain Financial bid and shall be

so marked on the left hand corner of the sealed envelope.

2. Financial bid of only those contractors shall be opened whose qualification are found

eligible for the same.

3. Qualifications of contractors for considerations of award of work:

(a) Must be registered in appropriate categories.

(b) Earnest money calculated at 2% of estimated cost.

(c) Must produce proof of income tax and sales tax clearance.

(d) List of works done in past three years along with proof of completion certificates must

be enclosed.

(e) List of works in hand, list of technical personnel working.

4. Tenderers for DEVELOPMENT AND BEAUTIFICATION OF RAJENDRA GARDEN at campus

of Rajendra College, Chapra are required to submit their full bio-data giving details about

their organization, technical experience etc.

5. In deciding upon the selection of contractors for the above work great emphasis will be

put on the ability and competence of contractors to do good of works within specified

time schedule.

6. Decision of the employer in regard to selection of contractors will be final and binding.

The employer is not bound to assign any reason therefore.

7. Self-attested copies of relevant certificate must be enclosed to substantial claims.

NOTICE INVITING TENDER

1. Percentage rate tenders are invited on behalf of Rajendra College, Chapra from

registered contractors/firms/organization of appropriate categories for development

and beautification of rajendra gardenat campus of Rajendra college, Chapra, Bihar. The

work is estimated to cost Rs. 3.50 lacs approximately.

2. Agreement shall be drawn with the successful tenderers on prescribed form F-2 of Bihar

Government. Tenderer shall quote his rates as per above or below estimated cost and

conditions of the said form which will form part of the agreement.

3. The time allowed for carrying out the work will be three month from the date of issue of

work order.

4. Tenders, which should always be placed in sealed envelope, with the name of work and

due date written on the envelopes will be received by the Authorized person up to

02:00 P.M. on 05.01.2016 and will be opened by a committee on the same day at 04:00

P.M.

5. The tender shall be accompanied by earnest money ofRs. 7000/- (Seven thousand only)in

shape of fixed deposit or demand draft drawn on

any National I Nationalized Bank or KVP or NSC duly pledged to the Principal, Rajendra

College, Chapra.

6. The tenders shall be received in two envelopes. Envelope A shall contain eligibility

qualification (Technical bid) and earnest money. The envelope B shall contain Financial

Bid and shall be marked on the left hand corner of the sealed envelope. Financial Bid of

only those contractor shall be opened whose qualification are found eligible and earnest

money placed in envelope is found to .be in order for the same.

7. Rajendra College, Chapra does not bind himself to accept the lowest or any other tender

and reserves to himself the authority to reject any or all of the tenders received without

the assignment of a reasons. All tenderers in which any of the prescribed conditions is

not fulfilled or any condition including that of conditional rebate is put forth by the

tenderer shall be some summarily rejected.

8. Canvassing whether directly or indirectly in connection with tenders is strictly prohibited

and the tenders submitted by the contractors who is resort to canvassing will be liable

to rejection.

9. Rajendra College, Chapra reserves himself the right of accepting the whole or any part

of the tender and the tendrs shall be bound to perform the same at the rate quoted.

10. The tender for the works remain open for acceptance for a period of 90 days from the

date of opening of tenders. If any tenderer withdraws his tender before the said period

or makes any modification in the terms and conditions of the tender which are not

acceptable to the department, then the college shall without prejudice to any other

rights or remedy, be at liberty to forfeit 50% of the said earnest money as aforesaid.

11. You may please note that if selected for construction work you shall have to sign an

agreement on the pattern of form F-2 of Bihar Government.

12. Original copies of all certificates must be produced at the time of signing of offers for

verification of certificates.

13. This notice inviting tender shall form a part of contract document the successful

tenderer/contractor, on acceptance of his tender by the accepting authority shall within

7 days from the stipulated date of start of work sign the contract consisting of
