Current design of raised access floor system with bolted stringers in existence for the last 15 to 20 years.
Very minor improvisations made in the design & engineering of the product, for better technical performance & benefits during time of installation.
Unitile has successfully done value engineering & re-designing of the conventional access floor system.
The new system designed by Unitile addresses all the common customer complaints associated with conventional access floor systems.

Drawbacks of a higher flange width Cantilever Panel are:
• The unsupported cantilever edges of the panel are vulnerable to damage due to site accidents during installation and frequent handling of the panel to handle underfloor services.
• Higher flange cantilever panels are often exposed to more risks of damage at site.
Advantages of a low flange width Cantilever Panel are:
• 36% decrease in cantilever edge.• Reduced and low cantilever edges of the panel provides
higher strength to the unsupported edge thus leading to reduced risks of damage due to accidents and frequent access of the panel at site.
• A low flange width panel of the same grade will perform better on all technical parameters as compared to a standard flange panel of the same grade.

The draw backs of the above visible gaps between the panel& stringer:
• Floating Panels: The panels are floating with gaps all around the perimeters.
• Misalignment problems: Misalignment issues hampers the floor leveling at site
• Overlapping panels: Overlapping of panels hampers the floor leveling at site and leads to uneven floors.
• Edge Beading Damage: Overlapping of panels leads to the abuse of the edge beading and the possibility of permanent detachment from the panel perimeters.
GAP between the Panel and Stringer
The advantages of no visible gaps between the panel & stringer:
• Tightly fitted Panels: The panels are snug fit to the under structure grid system.
• No Misalignment: Early warning to installer to take corrective action fast since the system perfectly fitted at right angle and panels do not fit in case of misaligned grid.
• No Overlapping of Panels: The system design prevents the lateral movement of the panels, hence the chances of panels overlapping are almost negligible.

ALL-NEW SOLUTIONFOR DATA CENTERS
With usage of 600 x 800 mmpanels, the under floor space canbe used to accommodate wider services (restricted load carrying capacity upto USF 1250 only).
With the earlier panel size of 600 x600 mm, the additional 200 mm small cut panels would have to be cut and used along the periphery or near racks for data centers, now with the availability of 600 x 800 mm panel, need for smaller size cut panels is eliminated.

Modular and flexible solution to brace the raised floor pedestal which can house the cable trays and power sockets directly fitted on it.
Since the system is adequately braced in all direction, it eliminates the anchoring (drilling the floor slab) of the pedestals and reduces dust generation within the facility. However, these pedestals are secured with the glue to the subfloor.
Multiple layers can be accommodated to suit the requirement at sites wherever necessary.
Improves the dynamic stability of the system.
By virtue of anchoring all the understructure grid with cable management system, the system is also seismic compliant to Zone 4 (highest in its class).
