Railbuild Group is proud to have worked on the English-French Channel Tunnel Rail Link Project with a project value in excess of £7m.

Railbuild Group provided a full turn key solutions package, including the building of line side sub-station and telecommunication buildings. With all accompanying building works including fencing, parking, telecommunications into the buildings and CCTV.

Consulting on the project, Railbuild Group provided bespoke design services for the development and build of 34 line side buildings and construction of Signalling and Control Rooms along the trackside of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link from Gravesend to Folkestone.

Railbuild Group carried out specialist Mechanical and Engineering works including CCTV to all buildings and associated access roads.

All buildings were designed to be fully automated and were constructed to a high standard of specification including CCTV and air conditioning units.

External rendering, anti-vandal and graffiti was specifically designed to withstand the elements and to give a long life with low future maintenance.

Railbuild Group carried out refurbishment works on Leeds train station enhancing the station facilities for both passengers and staff alike.

Refurbishment works included general building works such as redecoration, new doors, flooring, car parking, fencing and electrical refurbishment.

Railbuild Group undertook the design and build of an extension to Leeds train station platform designed to match the existing structure.

Working around the constraints of time and passenger safety, Railbuild Group successfully delivered the project on time and to the agreed budgets, with the station renovation and platform extension being brought into operational use for the scheduled date.

Refurbishment Works

Platform Extensions

Railbuild Group completed works on Leeds Train Station, the second busiest station outside of London, accommodating for 101,000 passengers a day.

We have previously been involved with and carried out both platform extensions and refurbishment works, having to work around one of the main and busiest stations in the country, demanding a precise programme and scheduling of works to ensure safety, precision and quality.
