• Contract for 1000 Locos signed on 30.11.2015 5
• Western DFC –9000 HP (200 Electric Locomotives)• 100 Locomotives to be manufactured at Dankuni
• Export of Rolling Stock from IR Production Units• Indigenously Designed & Developed by PUs

ROLLING STOCK MANUFACTURE –PROMOTING LOCAL INDUSTRY
• Metro Coach manufacture
• Cost of metro coach much lower than rest of the world• Bombardier India commenced supplies to Australia in January 2016• Significant increase in demand of metro coaches in India in next few years
