Professional ExperienceAugust 2010 – Present Executive Director - The Habibie Center, Jakarta, Indonesia As the Executive Director, I am directly responsible for the activities and day-to-day running of the Center. My responsibilities include steering the programs and research to be in line with the mission of The Habibie Center, which is to establish a structurally and culturally democratic society that acknowledges, honors and promotes human rights, as well as to study and advocate issues in the development of democracy and human rights, and to promote and advance effective human resources management and the socialization of technology.

February 2002 – August 2010 Program & Communications Manager - The Habibie Center, Jakarta, Indonesia

• Under the Director for Program and Research and the Director for Communication , I am responsible for coordinating the programs conducted by The Habibie Center. I also assist in maintaining The Habibie Center’s relations with International Organizations and Foreign Missions in Indonesia.

• Manager, ASEAN Studies Program – a program created in response to the growing interest in ASEAN as an institution as well as the relations between Member Countries

• Co-editor of the Monthly publication “PostScript” which provides an analysis of political and economic issues in Indonesia.

• Executive Producer of the Weekly TV Discussion “Bincang – Bincang THC” – aired on Q-Channel in Jakarta, Indonesia• Responsible for international affairs and correspondence for the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (Presdient B.J.

Habibie)

November 2001 – September 2002 - Legislative Fellow (APSA - The Asia Foundation Fellow) - Office of Congresswoman Juanita Millender-McDonald, United States Congress • Recipient of the American Political Science Association - The Asia Foundation Congressional Fellowship.

• As the Legislative Fellow, I primarily conducted research and drafted legislation for the Congresswoman. The issues I covered included International Relations, Women’s Health, International Women, HIV-AIDS, and a variety of other issues which were required by the Congresswoman.

• Assisted with the Administrative affairs of the Congressional Caucus on Women’s Issues (Women’s Caucus) of which the Congresswoman at that time was the Democratic Chair. Assisted the Congresswomen with the Caucus’ efforts to provide assistance to the women in Afghanistan.

February 2000 – September 2002 Executive Secretary/Junior Fellow - The Habibie Center, Jakarta, Indonesia• As the Executive Secretary, I worked directly under the Executive Director and the Associate Directors and thus

responsible for correspondence, and overseeing activities conducted by the Center. I also assisted in the establishment
