BRIEF ABOUT RAFFORD-UGANDAis a Community Based Organizations non

prot making , non religious and non Government Organisation (NGO) with the aim of

improving the life of rural communities to attain better livelihoods through advocacy,

and psychosocial support for the OVCs and vulnerable People especially girls and

women .

OUR VISION

An empowered community with knowledge and skills to foster sustainable

development of Orphans and other Vulnerable Children, and other People in the rural

communities.

MISSION STATEMENT

To contribute to Health improvement of the OVCs and other vulnerable people by

empowering rural communities in Uganda through advocacy, research and life skills to

improve their wellbeing.

RAFFORDS MAIN OBJECTIVE

To empower rural communities attainment of a modest standard of living for OVCs and

other vulnerable people.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES.

To prevent and combat poverty in Uganda through community empowerment

To build the capacities of rural communities in Uganda to deliver integrated,

equitable and quality services for marginalised groups.

To empower rural communities with knowledge and skills to provide care and

support for OVCs and PLWHA

To create an environment conducive for the survival, growth, development

and participation of all marginalised groups by delivering integrated and equitable

essential services to vulnerable children and households that are of sufcient quality for

sustainable development.
