Raesch Quarz (Malta) Ltd is a member of the Hönle Group and sister company of Raesch Quarz (Germany) GmbH. Raesch Quarz (Malta) was founded in 1997 in an effort of Raesch to remain competitive compared to the emerging competition from low cost countries in Asia. From 1997 onwards, Raesch gradually relocated all labour-intensive quartz manufacturing to the Maltese production plant, enabling an overall growth in a competitive landscape.

Quartz Glass

Quartz glass is a versatile natural product with outstanding characteristics that make it the material of choice for many demanding applications. It is produced by melting high purity quartz sand which can be mined in only a handful of locations in the world.

Novosil

The translucent quartz glass Novosil is a product that has all the material properties of quartz glass bar the optical properties. This economical material is widely used for applications like IR-heaters, tubes for probes and samplers for the metal industry, and in the automotive industry for the casting of camshafts.

RQ Quartz Glass Tubing

The RQ quartz glass range of Raesch is produced with only the highest quality quartz sand. The RQ range includes undoped ozone-forming clear quartz and various types of doped quartz glass for blocking different ranges of UV light. With the different furnaces that Raesch employs, it can offer a wide range of diameters and wall thicknesses. Besides the quartz glass tubes, Raesch also produces solid quartz rods that are typically used in the fibre optic industry.
