A girl is floating dead in a calm estuary in Omaha. All you can hear is the flat voice of a radio host talking.

INT. OMAHA ESTUARY

The camera shows a lifeless body lying in the water.

THE VICTOM, YOUNG BARELY 16, SHE IS LYING

PEACEFULLY IN THE WATER AND HAS LONG DARK

HAIR.

RADIO HOST, ANONOMOUS CHARACTER, EMOTIONLESS, HARSH TONED, WITHDRAWN SOCIALLY.

Water ripples around the girl’s body.

A set of crashing waves hit the shore, and then on the beach it shows a man picking up an old-fashioned radio and walking away.
