A weekly conference with your team of care providers, led by NAPBC Director, Dr. Katherine O’Donnell, enables a discussion around the most effective personalized treatment plan for you. During these conferences, your case is presented to breast cancer experts made up of a surgeon, radiologist, pathologist, medical and radiation oncologist, genetic counselor and patient navigator. We also extend an invitation to the physician who referred you to Windsong to ensure that all involved in your care have timely and accurate communication of your treatment plan.

This conference ensures that patients newly diagnosed or currently under treatment have access to a multidisciplinary evaluation that is specific to their needs including:

Michael Peyser, MD, FACS is a board-certified surgeon with an extensive background in surgical oncology.

With combined expertise of over 37 years, both surgeons are committed to providing the most progressive breast cancer treatment and care for their patients in a multi-disciplinary fashion.

Our highly trained nurse practitioners and physician assistants led by Dr. O’Donnell and Dr. Peyser, will guide you through your personalized treatment plan.

Windsong’s Hereditary Risk Assessment Program This unique program provides individual consultation to evaluate your hereditary risk for breast or ovarian cancer. This comprehensive evaluation provides your medical team and you with recommendations for surveillance, treatment and risk reduction options.

Windsong’s automated end-to-end risk assessment enhances our ability to identify, test and track patients at risk for cancer and provide critical information related to prevention and lifestyle choices. Our patients are counseled by Laura Fisher, MS, CGC, a Board certified genetic counselor adding to the reassuring expertise provided by this multidisciplinary team.
