One-piece Frontal Apron

Complete, wrap-around radiation protection: this apron has an adjustable buckle closure and is designed for swift removal while maintaining the integrity of the sterile field.

This one-piece wrap-around apron has a back support and stretch Velcro® strap closure.

Comprising a vest and a kilt, this two-piece apron offers complete wrap-around protection.

The stretch Velcro® straps cross at the lower back to provide lumbar support.

Durable Polyurethane comes in eight different colours while the tear resistant Rip Stop has seven. We have four colours to choose from in the shiny, Patent material option.

Kilt FasteningsWe offer a number of Kilt Fastenings including Braces.

These are a particularly helpful option for a customer who has equal hip and waist measurements or waist measurements greater than their hips. They ensure the weight of the Apron’s kilt section is balanced for maximum comfort.

Wide Stretch BeltsWide Stretch Belts can help provide additional support and comfort.

Fitting across the lumbar region of the back, they can be purchased as an additional item at any time and can be used with any style of Apron.

In addition to our standard Burlite Aprons, we also offer an even lighter weight apron material as a special construction option: ‘Ultralite (Envirolite)’ is a lead-free protection material which is up to 30% lighter than lead – which may be helpful for practitioners where apron weight is a significant issue.

Made from an ultra light composite of non-leaded metals, this material is environmentally friendly but is less durable than Burlite or Lead. We also offer traditional leaded aprons in any colour and size on request.

Protective Eyewear Protective Eyewear

Recent studies show increased sensitivity of the eye lens to radiation, so the wearing of protective glasses is very important for practitioners.

We offer prescription (Rx) and non-prescription (Non-Rx) glasses in a wide range of styles and colours. All have 0.75mm lead equivalency, high-light transmission leaded crystal lenses for clarity of vision and are enhanced by a special No Fog coating.

Frame Engraving A service we offer for any of our Radiation Protective Glasses – prescription or non-prescription – is frame engraving.

Wording appears on the inside arms – please specify the full name/title required at the time of ordering.

Each pair is supplied with its own hard case, retaining strap and cleaning cloth. Non-prescription models are ideal for people who wouldn’t normally wear glasses and contact lens wearers.

We also offer non-prescription models which can fit over an individual’s own glasses. For practitioners who prefer prescription glasses, we can supply many of our styles with single or bifocal lenses.

Wiley X® framesWiley X® frames are characterised by their pronounced curve and wide temple. They also come with a removable facial cavity seal. Wiley X® Tide models are a popular, medium width frame while the P17 has non-slip rubberised temples and nose piece for added comfort. The Wiley X® Airrage is a narrow frame, especially suited to narrow faces.

Phantom – with lateral protectionThis model uses the popular wrap-around style while incorporating built-in side shields for added protection from lateral exposure: solid, sturdy, yet comfortable.

GlassesBlack or tortoiseshell, these premium frames have a head-hugging temple design and are made from a durable, high-impact and chemical resistant nylon.

Sportwrap framesThere are a variety of Sportwrap options: Sportwrap Glasses are made from a light weight and sturdy nylon material that won’t warp or loosen with age. They have perforated silicone rubber nose pads for outstanding grip and fog reducing ventilation.

Ultralite Narrow Sportwrap Frames have a unisex shape and feature temple bars and nose bridges with soft inside rubberised padding for extra comfort, while Ultralite Broad Sportwrap Frames have a stylish, high-impact resistant frame and are designed for broader faces.
