Delivery: We will offer delivery within 200 km of home, after that at cost. Delivery will commence April 1, 2016 unless prior arrangements have been made with the seller.

Wintering: Anyone not wanting to take their bulls after the sale can make ar-rangements with the breeder to keep the bulls at a cost of $4.00 per day after April 1, 2016. ALL BULLS RETURNING TO THE BREEDER MUST BE INSURED. The bulls will be housed at the buyer’s risk. The breeders will not be responsible for any type of injury while the bulls are in their care.

It is a pleasure to work with Clayton, Kathy & Marshall Park in growing this sale. With similar goals, and focus on raising bulls that are structurally sound and ready to go to work for you, it just works out great.

We think that we have a really strong, consistent group of bulls on offer. The bulls are hand fed to promote docility. They are fed the Meadow Creek Ration from Hi Pro feeds, which is a corn and wheat based pellet. The bulls also receive free choice hay and minerals. The bulls are fed with longevity, fertility and productivity in mind. The bulls were not creep fed as calves. Their weaning weights reflect growth on milk and grass only.

Welcome to the Rack Red Angus/MCG Simmental 2016 Bull Sale. Once again we are honoured to work with the Brown’s and would like to thank everyone who attended last years sale as a buyer, bidder or who came out just to show support for the day. We take pride in the fact that most of our customers are repeat buyers! Your confidence in our program is greatly appreciated.All of the bulls in this offering have been fed at home. The bulls are fed twice a day morning and night. We have fed the same pellet ration for over 15 years now and have had great success using this product. We feed to have a 3.5 lb average daily gain and provide grass hay free choice. We strive to grow the bulls out for longevity so your purchases will last.

This year’s sale offering includes a large number of calving ease bulls that will work well on your heifers and go onto your cows that will leave you both with re-placement heifers and steers in the fall that will push the scales down and make you profit in your pocket!

We had the pleasure in October to consign a bred heifer and two heifer calves to the Canadian Red Round Up Sale in Red Deer. Bred heifer Red Rack Karma 6B sired by Six Mile Bucc 324Y, and out of Brylor GRA Karma 88X sold to Six Mile Angus for $11,000. Heifer calf Red Rack Karma 9C sired by Rack Mak’n Hay 228A and also out of dam Brylor GRA 88X sold to Wraz Red Angus for $5200 and second heifer calf Red Rack Countess 5C sired by GMRA Laramie 5110 sold to J Lazy Ranch for $4000.

We will offer a discount of $100 again this year for all bulls taken home sale day. Any bulls returning to the ranch after the sale must be insured! We will keep the bulls free of charge until March 31st. Starting April 1st there will be a charge of $4.00/day. Delivery of the bulls will commence the first week of April.

BUCC 324Y was a bull calf that Brent Carey found for us in 2012 at Six Mile. When I asked Brent about the bull his response was that he is a wide topped, thick boned power house that he thought would do us a lot of good. 324Y has done just that with the exception he is throwing much lighter BW averaging in the mid 80s.
