RACF Auditing & Reporting

TM

ERA [Easy RACF Audit] uses SMF records to analyze changes to the RACF database and user/program actions that have security implications. Easily find out who changed what and when, detect unauthorized attempts to access system resources, and quantify access violations and login attempts. ERA uses simple ISPF panels to browse/select SMF dump files for RACF event extraction and export. Extract/export jobs are generated by ERA and can be automated. ERA contains a full suite of PC applications to manage ERA data and analyze the historical database of RACF security events.

Detailed event data is always critical to the Security Administrator/Auditor in discovering successful and unsuccessful security events that are important to identifying, rectifying, and eliminating security risks and violations.

EVENT REPORTINGERA provides customizable reporting to meet the needs of your organization. Custom reports can easily be created with no programming experience. ERA’s online reporting allows for extensive sorting and masking criteria specification for more standard, special or customized reports. Immediately identify suspicious activity, like unauthorized or frequent access, using ERA’s comprehensive reporting abilities. Additionally, ERA provides a library of sample reports to get you started.
