ENGINESupermoto demands raw, pure and uncompromised performance. The KTM 690 SMC R’s carefully selected assortment of rider aids lets you take your riding to new limits. Lean-angle sensors add a new level of precision to both the Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC) and innovative ABS features, while a slipper clutch and Quickshifter + put elevated performance and control at your fingertips.

RIDE MODES The two ride modes can be easily switched over from the handlebar Mode Switch, which makes adjusting the character of the engine possible on the fly. STREET mode offers full traction control, linear throttle response and anti-wheelie for smooth street riding in all conditions. SPORT mode provides a more aggressive throttle response with reduced traction control to allow wheelies, drifts and full control of slides.

ADVANCED ABS FEATURES KTM’s cornering ABS system takes the bike’s lean angle into account, which lets riders use the full power of their brakes at all times. The SUPERMOTO ABS setting allows rear wheel lockup with reduced ABS on the front wheel for the street rebels who like to have more control over the motorcycle when pushing the limit through turns. For hardcore track action, riders can completely disengage ABS with ease.
