The world’s most famous riders have taken part in GP events in Brno since 1930, where up until 1982 they would race through the villages and western parts of the city on a road track named after the first Czechoslovak President - T.G. Masaryk. A new circuit was built during the 1980s with the aim of attracting Formula 1 to Czechoslovakia, and in 1987 it played host to the FIM Czech Grand Prix. Popular with both fans and riders, the new circuit is built in a natural bowl which is banked in places to offer spectators an excellent view. Brno constantly changes in elevation as it sweeps across forested hillsides and its fast undulating corners test rider talent and engineering to the limit. Seit 1930 haben die weltberühmtesten Fahrer an GP Events in Brünn teilgenommen. Bis 1982 fuhr man durch Dörfer und die westlichen Stadtteile auf der Straße, die nach dem ersten tschechoslowakischen Präsidenten T.G. Masaryk benannt wurde. In den achtziger Jahren wurde eine neue Rennstrecke gebaut, die die Formel 1 nach Tschechien locken sollte. Im Jahr 1987 war Brünn Gastgeber für den tschechischen FIM Grand Prix. Bei Fans und Fahrern ist die Strecke gleichermaßen beliebt. Den Zuschauern bietet die neue Strecke, die in einer natürlichen Senkung gebaut wurde, exzellente Sicht. Die Rennstrecke variiert ständig in den Höhen: Bewaldete Abhänge und schnelle hügelige Kurven sind die ultimative Prüfung für Fahrertalent und Technik Depuis 1930, les pilotes les plus célèbres se sont rendus sur le circuit de Brno qui traversait à l’époque les villages et la partie ouest de la ville. Un nouveau circuit fut construit en 1980 pour y accueillir le Grand Prix de Formule 1 de Tchécoslovaquie et le Grand Prix de Motocyclisme FIM. Très populaire pour les pilotes et les spectateurs, le nouveau circuit est construit sur un plateau naturel offrant une excellente vue pour les spectateurs..
