INTRODUCTION

R.S.Kulkarni HVACR Consultancy organization was established in 1981 and has been merged into R.S. KULKARNI HVACR Consulting Engineers. We work as a Consultant for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning design. We provide ancillary services including CFD analysis, smoke analysis, IES simulations, building evacuations and pressurization.

We also undertake MEP co-ordination with renowned design consultants from PHE/FF and Electrical field.

Meticulous Engineering and Strong Work Ethic with a focus on Customer Satisfaction is our Proficiency.

BUILDING EVACUATION ANALYSIS

❑ Our building evacuation study analyses the most

effective routes of egress in the event of a fire or any

other emergency that is a threat to life

❑ Using simulations, an occupant evacuation model is

created, which factors in a threat assessment of all

points of origin of the fire and all the potential

blockage points during the evacuation.

❑ The occupant evacuation model simulates evacuation

in static and dynamic blocking situations and records

occupation changes at every section during the

process of egress.

❑ Estimate time required for occupants to exit a

building. Modification required to exit path are

suggested for achieving desire evacuation time.

PRESSURIZATION ANALYSIS

❑ Our pressurization analysis tool can be useful for

assessing the adequacy of ventilation rates in a

building, and for estimating the impact of

envelope air-tightening efforts on infiltration rates

and associated energy implications.

❑ Stairwell pressurization analysis helps Architects

and Structural Engineers to define the right level

of pressurization; sufficient enough to keep

smoke out of the building and not so high that

stairwells are not easy to access during an
