I should not enter any event unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of event officials relative to my ability to safely participate. I assume all risks associated with kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding or rowing of any personally powered boat during the event. I will wear an approved lifejacket during my time in the water. I will be liable for my own safety and the safety of other participants within my control. Having read this waiver and knowing the facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Rotary Club of Ogallala, Nebraska Game and Parks, all sponsors, their representatives and successors from claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.

This is a Fundraiserto benefit Water Projects around the World

Our Goal is for everyone to raise at least $30.00 ($10.00 per mile) or more in Pledges for Rowing 3 miles

across Big Mac.

Come out, put both oars in the water and help support a water project around the world.

There will be recognition for the biggest pledge/fundraiser.

1ST PRIZE: KAYAK , PADDLE & LIFE JACKET

Kayak, Canoe, Paddle Board or anything you have powered by humans & oars!

If you don’t have a boat we have Kayaks available from Scott Eveland of the Nebraska

The Lake McConaughy Dive Rescue Team will provide Safety Patrol & Rescue during the event

Departure is scheduled for 10:00amLaunch will be from “Spill Way Bay” at the Kingsley Boat Ramps with calm wind or a breeze out of the south, Martin Bay if there is a breeze out of the north & Lake Ogallala below the dam if it’s too windy for the Big Lake
