Move Database to recycle bin

In CADISON.INI in section [PHI_CADISON] a database group can be specified which can beused as a recycle bin. Example for such an entry:[PHi-CADISON]RecycleBinFolder=1-Recycle bin for everyoneIf databasegroup “1-Recycle bin for everyone” does exist, projectdatabases with the newcontext menue entry “move database into recyclebin” can now be moved into thatdatabasegroup.Using the following command all databases can be erased from the recyclebin:Itftools – DELDBSINRBWhile using this command you have to pay attention that no CADISON user is logged intoCADISON.

Change of function

Opening the Tree while assigning by Drag&Drop

While assigning objects by Drag&Drop to another object and the tree content of the targetobject has already be opened and actually is closed, the tree has been automaticallyopened. From this release on it will not be done anymore.

Sort of table configuration within dialog "Modify Table Configuration"

The drop down dialog in the right upper corner of existing table configurations will now be inalphabetical order.

#25630Default-Focus in ObjectManager

Starting the ObjectManager the first time until now the selection list for the view of graphicdisplay was active. From now on the Tree is active in which can be navigate through thedefault objects.

#24983Selection of Property name in "modify attribute"

If opening the dialog „edit Attributes“ for displaying the Property Definition, until now thefields „AttributID“ and „Attribute name“ were not available, so that the name could not becopied into the clipboard. From this release on the text can be accessed.

Bugfixes

#25073Exception error with "F1" in file selection dialog

While pressing F1-key in file selection dialog, until now it could come to an exeption error.For example this could happen in ObjectManager while executing the command „importdefault objects“ and the dialog for file selection / directory selection appeared. The error hasbeen fixed.

#25213Integrating of ordered ERP-objects

If in CADISON the ERP-Interface is active and ordered objects were outsourced, until nowall the ordering information was resetted in the outsourced data. If afterwards a orderedobjects was deleted or changed in the outsourced data, this has not been taken in accountwhile integrating the data again. These errors have been fixed.

#25318Display of EMF-files for object preview

There is no preview available for symbols having the graphics stored in .EMF files. Symbolscreated in VISIO P&ID Designer were stored in EMF format and cannot therefore bedisplayed in the ObjectManager. This error has been fixed.

#25598Duplicated assignment of objects

If in CADISON Tree the same object types were assigned by Drag and Drop and the option“assign” is set, all sub objects of the origin object were transmitted to the target object.Thereby all structure sub elements were subordinated to the target object as structureelements. However the component sub elements of the origin object were assigned to thetarget object as component- and structure sub element. Therefore those sub elements got adouble assignment. If the superior objects of this object were displayed, therefore in the listwere displayed the same superior object twice. This double assignment while usingDrag&Drop will no longer be used by the object consolidation.

#25619Error message while using the table filter within ObjectManager

If activating the table view in ObjectManager, a filter or sort can be set up. However in theleft Tree is selected a object class, in the right area were shown the available libraries, aerror message will be generated while the set of a filter or the change of the sort within thetable is used “A wrong argument is detected”. This error has been fixed.

Display of CADISON-Help from file-/directory selection

While pressing the Help button within the file-/directory selection only a message appearedthat the CADISON.CHM is not a valid help file. This error is fixed so that the help will bedisplayed correct.

Change of table configuration when selection structure view

If structure view in Engineer is selected, depending of the configuration a associated tableconfiguration can be activated. Until now this has not been working in R9.

Calculating of COUNTANDFILL-Properties

If the value of the Property is empty, usually COUNTANDFILL-Properties will be calculatedautomatically by CADISON. However up to now it could happened that COUNTANDFILL-Properties were not calculated automatically. This error has been fixed.

Modify of table configuration after "modify structured view definition"

Selecting „Modify Structured View Definition“ in Engineer, there selecting a differentstructure view and closing this dialog by hitting the „OK“ button, the selected structure viewwill be activated in the Tree. If there already exist a table configuration of the same namethis configuration should be selected automatically. Until now this does not work in R9. Theerror has been fixed.

Missing and duplicate Properties in property list

There is a possibility that in ObjectEditor and ObjectInspector several properties weremissed for one prperty group. While some were listed twice. This could happen while„translating“ multiple properties with the same text within one propertygroup. This error hasbeen fixed.

Engineer-Window appears upper left corner while starting

Wrong coordinates fort he last window position in the Windows registry file were storedwhen shutting down the Engineer while it is minimised in the task tray. That is why theEngineer appears in the upper left corner when starting Engineer again. This error has bee fixed. If shutting down the Engineer while it is minimized to the task traythe last used window position will be used.

Generation of Word-Reports of multiple objects with property values withinthe filename

A CADISON-property can be given in the line APP_PREFIX= in the START.TPL of the ReportTemplate.If generating multiple reports for multiple objects out of the table is not working until now.The property name for the filename is only generated for the first report. The same filenamewith different counters were used for the rest of the reports.From this version on for each generated report the property value of the corresponding startobject of the report will be used. For this the dialog “generate Report” the command line isdeactivated for the filename. The filename is generated by CADISON.

#25112Crash while using REFEDIT

The AutoCAD command REFEDIT is not supoported by CADISON Designer. SometimesAutoCAD crashes while using this command inside a CADISON drawing to edit XREF -CADISON drawings. That is why CADISON has deactivated this command from now on.AutoCAD shows a error message according that this command is not available.

#25829Datalost after opening read only drawings

While loading read only drawings in the CADISON Designer, the whole Designer has beenshifted into the "read mode". The "read mode" has not been resetted in case of changing toa not read only drawing file. As a result all changes to the data within the drawing has notbeen saved to the database. This error has been fixed.

#22280Editing objects out of the consistency check

From the consistency check dialog box listed in the list of results can now be edited directly.Either selected direct and the new button “Edit” or with double click of one of the objects inthe list of results.

#22836Transfer of AutoCAD - color numbers

A AutoCAD color can be used for coloring (i.e. color “160” for object Media). Until now thisAutoCAD color could not be transcribed in Visio. From this version the AutoCAD colors 0 to255 can be used, the colors will transmitted to Visio correctly.

#23904Supporting dynamic Shapes respectively transmission ofCADISON-Properties to the Shapesheet

Single Shape-Sheet data can be filled with actual values of the objects from the CADISONdatabase. The update of the data is done while placing a shape, editing the sheet with theobject editor or while doing changed to the graphic i.e. moving the object. The updateworks as follows:In the USER-DEFINED-Cells the User must add some lines in the ShapeSheet in which theproperties (internal name of Objectmodel!) were listed, for which the data were took overfrom the database.This will be done as follows: All cells were searched in the section User-defined Cells startingwith CDSNPROP_ (unformatted) or CDSNPROPF_ (formatted). For these will be added thedatabase value into the column “Prompt” and will be entered into the ShapeSheet.Example for unformatted data transfer:

The selection of Media, Pipeline spec., logical plant and existing pipelines are now sorted. In

addition only the pipeline is shown in the selection, which is subordinated to the selectedpipe spec.

#25210Arrow of pipeline with flow direction into both directions

Until now the flow direction „both directions“ at the end of a pipe is displayed with onesymbol of a rhombus.Now this flow direction is shown with one symbol ant the beginning and at the end of thepipe. With this the display is now more standardized.

#25317Scale with mouse for shapes of selectable object classes

By default all of the placed shapes (except of PHI-PLNT, TEXT-MASK, …) were automaticallyprotected against manipulating with the mouse.From now on the shapes of the following object classes were not protected anymore:PHI-TANK (Tanks), PHI-HEXC (Heat exchanger), PHI-THEC (Dev. Heat/Cooling jackets),PHI-TINS (Dev. Insulation), PHI-PRCS (Process), PHI-KKSG (function group).

#25540On ObjectInspector without previous selection of object

The ObjectInspector can now be called without previous selecting of object. In this case thedata of the drawing will be displayed.

Display of object types in the dialog of "create new symbol"

From this version on in this dialog CADISON-Object types were displayed within a selectionlist. In addition to the name of the object type there will be also the type class be shown inthe list. This is necessary to identify double entries.

Improvement of dialogs for maintenance of stencils

The 3 dialogs „Cadison stencil“, „group stencil“ and „stencil settings“ were improved in thefollowing points:

1. Multiple selection is now available continuously (where useful).2. Double click onto a stencil will open the followed dialog.

In addition the order of the list within the dialog „stencil settings“ has been changed. Thelist of all available stencils was now left, the list of the selected stencils on the right.Furthermore every stencil is only listed once, either in the list of the available or theselected stencils. For a better overview the list is sorted. With a double click a stencil can betransferred from one list into another.

Multiple selection in Layermanager

To freeze or lock multiple layers there is now a multi selection available.By pressing STRG + LMB the corresponding cells were selected and marked with blue. Theinverted status will be overtaken to all selected cells by pressing one of the fields in theselection.It will automatically be deselected afterwards.

Improvement of dialog "setting of structure view"

The following changes have been made in the dialog:

1. for a better overview there were implemented descriptions of the columns2. With a double click on one element of the list this will be overtaken into the other list.

Valid for both lists.3. Structure view only available in one list. Either in the list of the available ort he selected

structure views.

Inadequancy of object labelling

The function „object labelling“ has been expanded to lable superior respectivelysubordinated objects of actual selected objects, even though the superior or subordinatedobjects were not selectable by graphic (Media, Project, Piperun).Further more while placing the CADISON-user defined labelling also the near by pipelineswill be labelled.

Dialog of consistency check

It will be changed that the user can open the dialog fort he ConsistensChecker, even if thedialog is open at the same time: change diameter, synchronize drawing, link Object, joinObjects, copy data to and assign graphic.The listed commands cannot be opened at the same time, because intern they are using thesame dialogs. That the CADISON-Tree is not displayed at the same time is intentional.

Bugfixes

#25246Forced termination after work with document stencil

When working in only one drawing and opening the document stencil, edited and afterwardsclosed again, wrongly the system tree is called. After a selection of drawing the VISIO-PIDhas cancelled while opening the drawing.This problem has been fixed. After closing the stencil the return to the drawing wil now becorrect.In addition some VISIO-PID aborts will be repaired every time the last drawing was closedand a ne one is opened.

#25258Moving of several symbols takes couple of minutes

Moving multiple elements within one drawing it could last a couple of minutes (depending ofthe amount of the symbols to be moved). From this version on the movement ofCADISON-elements will be done faster.

Wrong initialization by missing configuration file

If a configuration file like VisioFlowSym.cfg or VisioPropertyMapping.cfg is not present theVISIO P&ID Designer is not installed correctly. This error has been fixed.

Memory fault in dialog "create new symbol"

In the dialog for creating new symbols in the past a memory error occurred. If in theselection list of the object types a new entry is selected, new memory area was used andwas not freed after usage. That was because VISIO has a lack of memory after a while andVISIO crashed. This error has been fixed.

Place 3-Way armature in pipeline

The Adjustment and positioning of 3-Way armatures will be done automatically. Thepipelines will be broken correctly. Also while overlapping it will be cut correctly.Notes/restrictions:

a) Perhaps pipelines, which could not be connected will be deleted.b)the armature will still be glued if the Visio-GLU-Point is shown. If the glue point is notshown the pipeline will be cut but perhaps not glued.

Not valid placing of 4-way armatures into pipeline

It is now easier to place 4-way armatures. They now will be aligned automatically and thepipe will be cut correctly.

#25302Pipelines will go through symbol after DB import

After an import of some database the pipeline goes through the symbol of armatures. Theconnection to this pipeline has gone. This problem has been fixed in this release.

#25106Crash changing the diameter of pipeline inside a construction set

Changing the diameter of a pipeline which is inside a construction set and the pipe spec. isnot created it comes to a crash.

#24073Seperator "/" within the labelling dialog is not displayed correct

The seperator „/“ will not be displayed correctly. The description should be as follows:P_name+"/"+PLANT_NO statt P_name+""+PLANT_NO

#25179Original diameter is not shown by changing

If the function „DN“ change diameter is used the first diameter in the list of the diameters isshown and not the original one.

#24218Expanded alignment by Shape text

Placing and moving, rotating or mirroring of shapes ist tags will always be rotated into DINsuitable reading position.Manually rotated shape text (Tag) is not rotated back to horizontal position any more whenusing the command “update objects”. Rotated text will belong to their rotation.

#25415Unhandled exception by instering reducer

While inserting original CADISON reducers the error message appeard: unhandled exceptionerror. This error has been fixed.

#25460Logical plant as a symbol

It was not possible to create new own logical plants with the tool of creating new symbols.This error has been fixed.

Changes in drawing were not saved

If Visio exits the question appears if the actual drawing should be saved. Even though theanswer was "No", the drawing will be saved automatically by CADISON. But in some casesthis automatically saving does not work. THis error has been fixed.

Wrong color in labelleing

BUntil now it could happen that the labelling of objects (as well as Tagging as a part of thesymbols and manual placeds labelling) did not contained the color which is entered in the.CDC file. Especially these colors defined as RGB colors were not transcribed correctly. THiserror has been fixed.

New keyword for formula for counting subelements

The new keyword is available “COUNTOBJECTS” which calculates the amount of subobjects.The type of sub objects can be given here. If no type is used (for counting all of the subobjects) the setting of the type is not necessary.

Syntax for counting definite sub objects:

#25679E2W Usermanagement while project access

In the CADISON User management can be defined which project can be open by the users.Until now E2W did ignore this verification. In the moment a project was activated foraccess, done in the E2W administration programm, all users listed in the administrationprogram could open all unlocked projects. This error has been fixed. Now also the userrights were verified within the project.

#25737Termination while initialize of database / importing additional model

In some cases it could happen that while initialize of database or while importing ofadditional object model the error appears "Invalid parameter for CRT function". From thisversion on this error message should not appear anymore. The initialize process shouldwork without error message.

ITFTOOLS -activedbs under Windows 7 and Windows 2008 Server

Under the named operating systems the option -activedbs did not work while the useraccess control (UAC) was active. From this version on this option will work even though theUAC was active

ITFTOOLS -lockinfo

Until now this option dows only wirk when the user is also listed in the file GROUP.FLG whocalls the command for the database to be analized. From this version the -lockinfo willautomatically change th entry in the GROUP.FLG file so that the required information aboutdabase locks can be requested. At the end of the command the original content will beplaced back into the GROUP.FLG.

Note: this option will only work on the database server.

Text font in table and tree within Matpipe and Selector

From this version on Matpipe and the Selector were using the same text fonts set up in allother CADISON applications (ProjectEngineer, Designer).Note: In Matpipe there is no command available for changing the fonts. This still has to bedone within ProjectEngineer / Designer.

Change of functions

#24927Textfield "Name" in dialog "Properties"

The dialog for editing Object table properties (dialog „property of <propertyname>”) offersa field “name”. This field shows the internal name of the property. Until now this field wasdeactivated while editing one of the property, so that it was not possible to click inside thisfield to highlight and copy it. From this version on this field is set to “read only” and is nolonger deactivated. So far it was possible to mark this field and to copy out the content.
