If you work outside like we do, the days seem to be never-ending. So sometimes, you need a good old fashioned quote to speak to your soul and get you feeling motivated again. We’ve picked out our favourites that we think of just to keep us going in the last half hour of the day, or just when we need a gentle nudge to the back of the knees. And of course, they are very much related to the job we do.

More often than not, when there is a power cut, we panic and rush to find candles or torches. But being in the dark isn’t such a bad thing. It heightens your senses and gradually creates a sense of calm. Instead of running around like a headless chicken, embrace the darkness before finding the solution to creating the light.

Like a lot of other companies, our started with an idea that we pursued and turned into a success. To think of an idea doesn’t have to be related to anything huge. The loss of power can be frightening or stressful for some, be it for businesses or individuals. For a business it can be at a big event such as a festival, or an individual who is afraid of the dark. If things are going to go wrong, they will because the power is out of our hands, but finding the solution is in our hands. And it is most definitely in our hands when we get a phone call to beam up our generators or lighting towers.
