ORDINANCE NO.An Ordinance authorizing the quitclaim of an

easement for sanitary sewer and storm drainage purposeslying on Hollywood Boulevard westerly of Fairfax Avenue,lying within Lots 1, 2, 3, Tract No. 5757.THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The Council of the City of Los Angeleshereby finds and determines that certain easement forsanitary sewer and storm drainage purposes hereinafterdescribed, lying on Hollywood Boulevard westerly of FairfaxAvenue, lying within Lots 1, 2, 3, Tract No. 5757 is nolonger required for the use of the City, and that thepublic interest, convenience and necessity require, andsaid Council orders, the conveyance by quitclaim deed ofall the City's right, title and interest in and to saidsanitary sewer easement without notice of sale oradvertisement for bids, to the person or persons who ownthe real property at the time of execution of the deed, inseveralty, and upon the same tenure as their respectiveinterests appear of record in the office of the CountyRecorder of Los Angeles County.

Sec. 2. The aforesaid sanitary sewer easement islocated in the City of Los Angeles, County of Los Angeles,State of California, and is more particularly described asfollows:

That certain easement for sanitary sewer and stormdrainage purposes, 10 feet wide, lying within Lots 1, 2 and3, Tract No. 5757, as per map recorded in Book 60, Page 51,of Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of LosAngeles County, and a portion of the northerly 75 feet of aportion of the southeast quarter of the northeast quarterof Section 8, Township 1 South, Range 14 West, SanBernardino Meridian, according to the Official Plat of saidSection on file in the Bureau of Land Management,Department of the Interior of the United States; describedin deed recorded in Book 7454, page 8, of Deeds, in theOffice of said County Recorder. Excepting therefrom anyportion lying easterly of the easterly line of Lot 3 ofsaid Tract No. 5757.

Sec. 3. The following is authorized and directed:(a) The Mayor of said City shall execute deeds in·duplicate on behalf of said City, foreverquitclaiming said easement above-described to theperson or persons who own the real property atthe time of execution of the deed;

(b) The City Clerk shall attest to and affix the CitySeal to said quitclaim deeds; and

(c) The Real Estate Group of the Bureau ofEngineering shall record and deliver saidquitclaim deeds to the grantees named therein.

The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinanceand have it published in accordance with Council policy, either in a daily newspapercirculated in the City of los Angeles or by posting for ten days in three public places inthe City of los Angeles: one copy on the bulletin board located at the Main streetentrance to the los Angeles City Hall; one copy on the bulletin board located at theMain Street entrance to the los Angeles City Hall East; and one copy on the bulletinboard located at the Temple Street entrance to the los Angeles County Hall of Records.

I, MARIA VIZCARRA, state as follows: I am, and was at all times hereinafter mentioned, a

resident of the State of California, over the age of eighteen years, and a Deputy City Clerk of the City

of Los Angeles, California.

Ordinance No. 182885 - Authorizing the guitclaim of an easement for sanitary sewer and

storm drainage purposes 'lling on Hollywood Boulevard westerlll of Fairfax Avenue, Mng

within Lots 1, 2, 3. Tract No. 5757 - a copy of which is hereto attached, was finally adopted by the

Los Angeles City Council on Janualy 28. 2014, and under the direction of said City Council and the

. City Clerk, pursuant to Section 251 of the Charter of the City of Los Angeles and Ordinance No.

172959. on February 6, 2014 I posted a true copy of said ordinance at each of the three public

places located in the City of Los Angeles, California, as follows: 1) one copy on the bulletin board

located at the Main Street entrance to the Los Angeles City Hall; 2) one copy on the bulletin board

located at the Main Street entrance to the Los Angeles City Hall East; 3) one copy on the bulletin

board located at the Temple Street entrance to the Los Angeles County Hall of Records.

Copies of said ordinance were posted conspicuously beginning on February 6. 2014 and will

be continuously posted for ten or more days.
