QuintingQuinting is a Swiss watch manufacturer that over the last 15 years has shown its exclusivity merging advanced engi-neering and the highest Swiss watchmaking traditions.

“If I wear a Quinting watch, it is because it is the symbol of the Swiss tradition of horology and its future”

Impossible to copyIf you want to copy a watch, even from a big brand, you have to print a copy of the background, add a hole in its middle and put some hands. Quinting watches are im-possible to copy as you would have to put these hands in the heart of a movement we are the only one able to do.

Patented manufacture movementsQuinting movements are patented and registered trade-marks. The Manufacture launched until today 5 different patented movements (Mysterious Chronograph, Cyclone,Mysterious Quardinal, Mystic, Moonlight).

Quinting belongs to the elite of the watchmaking segment, this small circle of brands creating their own move-ments. They are benefiting from the title of Manufacture.

Fighting for our planet’s wellnessWWF iternational operates for the planet’s wellness, merging regional, national and global perspectives. It no-tably owes its success to a constant questioning on the best actions to be taken and a particular organization of work, refined over the years.

An independant organization... WWF is a non-governmental organization, ensuring by definition differentiation from political powers. Many people are engaged in the WWF struggles around the world, either employees or volunteers.

...with local and international expertiseEach covered territory owns its own local branch, with field officers in direct relation with WWF international while keeping financial and legal independence.

WWF first was essentially focused on the animal protec-tion. Today, aligning with unprecedented environmental changes, global warming is also a major battle.

Our engagement with WWF

A long term investmentProducing industrially the vital services provided for free by nature would imply technical and workforce costs es-timated at approximately 60 billion euros a year, only for Europe (figures provided by the WWF, 2014). That‘s why the industrial segment and private societies, whate-ver their motivations, have a vested interest in engaging themselves from now on.

Every support mattersThe situation is critical but not irremediable yet. Quin-ting undertakes, on its scale and from the first days of 2016, to support WWF international in its fight for our environment, especially regarding biodiversity and spe-cies conservation.

For that, we will direct our partnership on key territo-ries, where both WWF and Quinting are already present and where great things have to be done for the conserva-tion of biodiversity, the reduction of the environmen-tal footprint and a better repartition of resources.

Supporting animal and human welfareQuinting officially joins WWF international and makes available all its expertise and reputation supporting ani-mal and human welfare. A decision and involvement of the highest importance which are a worthy extension of the fight for peace already started by the Swiss manu-facturer 15 years ago.

Companies need to get involvedToday private companies only represent a very small part of the aid provided to WWF international. However, if we want a real change to start, we need to all work together: governments, industries and consumers. Everybody has a role to play, and play it now.

An ethical engagementThe main reasons for encouraging and supporting WWF are for non-profit proposes, oriented towards nature, our planet and all the living species. However, a lot of com-panies are blissfully unaware of the fact that such a com-mitment is also a cost saving process for all of them.

After 15 years fighting for Peace in the world, Quinting only considers an accomplishment of its battles through a healthier planet Earth, whose biological balance must be maintained.

Masterpieces

Only unique piecesThe exclusive Quinting watches developed for suppor-ting WWF are all unique and hand decorated with ena-mel. The specific composition of the Quinting mechanism makes them perfect theatre sets composed of a back-ground and a first ground with mobile elements evolving in between at different speeds.

High technicalityThe technical mastery of our watchmakers and artists leads to the creation of exclusive pieces, distinguished by unique design. For each territory, the most endange-red species on which WWF is working are highlighted by Quinting within collections especially selected.

Draw attention to the most endangered speciesResult of this collaboration, the Quinting WWF panda time-keeper represents the emblematic animal in its natural habitat. Living within a bamboo forest, the giant panda is surrounded by three butterflies, flying at dif-ferent speeds.

Raising awareness

Only unique piecesThe last decades have definitely been marked by specta-cular and fast progressing advances but also by an unpre-cedented mass consumption and the destruction or compromise of too many resources and ecosystems. Technological and industrial progresses in developed countries happened at the expense of other species and even other parts of the world.

Rethinking our living habitsTechnology and demography booms on the rest of the planet are inevitable. To make it possible and viable, we have nevertheless to rethink our production modes and living habits, from the ways we travel or move to our ea-ting patterns.

Reefs, source of food, medicine and CO2 absorptionThe reefs timepiece represents colourful reefs where exotic fish are hiding. Represented in their natural ha-bitat, their are swimming around the watch at different speeds.

Common good

Humanity and nature can coexistLiving as well, and even in a better way than today, is cer-tainly possible. For that we just have to change simple things, representing in the end little burden, making this living comfort accessible to all human populations and healthy for our planet.

Shared values for common goodQuinting and WWF particularly meet around those es-sential values of social well-being and peace. Those same values needing to be accessible to all living beings, through actions as transparent as the time keepers de-signed by the Swiss manufacturer. Behind them as well as behind the WWF fights, the human factor is reflected first. The key of a common and sustainable success.

The bluefin tuna, an almost extinct speciesThe Quinting WWF tuna time-keeper represents a scho-ol of tuna in its natural habitat. Astonishing animal, the bluefin tuna is the fastest fish and the only one with warm blood. It is also especially endangered.
