In*Step is Shaw Hard Surface’s revolutionary tongue and

groove system that locks luxury vinyl planks together without

the use of adhesive. The patented edge profile is designed into

all four sides, ensuring a tight fit between joints and preventing

separation under commercial traffic. Quiet Cover with In*Step

is constructed with an acoustical silencing layer that reduces

sound transfer and meets IIC ratings required for many high rise

buildings. Quiet Cover also stands up to high levels of moisture

in concrete and installs without adhesive or underlayment as

long as the slab is within tolerance. Saving adhesive reduces

installation costs and the potential for harmful VOCs found in

many bonding agents.
