Setting up aha on your phone to work with the BeSpoke Premium Audio System* and pairing your Bluetooth phone.

*Refer to the BeSpoke Quick Start Guide for usage instructions.

BeSpoke Premium Audio System is optional equipment.

Download the App

In order to use the aha portion of your BeSpoke Premium Audio System, download the aha app, free from Google Play or iTunes store. The aha app is free to download, but data charges may apply depending on your data plan.

Phone Requirements

What is aha?Aha is an app that uses “the cloud” to bring you a variety of internet content on your phone. When connected to your Scion, it integrates with your head unit, allowing you to listen to your favorite presets in your vehicle. The aha app offers many features— not all features are currently available in your Scion.

Create an Account

Launch aha radio and selectCreate Account.

Android*

■ Aha radio requires Bluetooth connection

*Before you start

■ IMPORTANT! To use aha you must have a data plan for your smartphone (minimum 2GB plan recommended), access to a Wi-Fi network, or data connectivity through a portable hotspot device.

■ Aha is compatible with iOS devices running version 5.0 or greater and Android devices running 2.X and 4.X.

Basic aha Screens2

Default Screen

The default screen is your presets. Aha has selected some popular stations for you, but you can also add your own. These are the stations you’ll see on your BeSpoke Premium Audio System.

Featured Screen

The Featured station menu allows you to listen to a host of different content related to a certain topic, like News & Politics. If you hear something you like, adding it is as simple as clicking Add to Presets.

Featured stations are not available in your Scion.

Main Menu

The main menu is acces-sible via the stacked lines in the top left. From here you can add a station, edit your presets, change your settings, and access featured stations.

The Settings menu is where you can link associated accounts, like Slacker, Twitter and Facebook.

aha Icon

The aha icon in the bottom right hand corner connects you to nearby restaurants, hotels, coffee shops, weather updates, and traffic. Just tap an icon to view a list of local places in that category.

Traffic will not be available in your Scion.

Select Add a station.

Select the main menu and choose Presets.

Search bykeyword.

or browse by category.

Once you have found a list of results, you can add a station or get more information.

Get more station information— preview the station or add it.

Click the X to return to presets or the < to return to search results.

Linking Accounts4

Select Settings.

Select the Main Menu.

Select the account you want to link.

Log in to account.

Select Associated Accounts.

Social media access requires Account Linking■ Social media content is read back to you

■ You can like posts with the “thumbs up”

■ Slacker Radio use requires Account Linking

■ Slacker radio stations will play without a linked account for a limited time. Users must then link their existing account or register for a free or paid account to continue listening.

You cannot post to Facebook or Twitter from your Scion

Setting Nearby Preferences5

Select the aha Icon to enter the nearby points of interest menu.

Select the Tool Icon in the lower right hand corner.

Select the Nearby Category you wish to modify.

Enter a keyword or type of cuisine and select the + Sign to add your filter.

After setting your filters, click the X to return to the list of results, or click the < to view all of your filters and turn filters on or off.

Customize your filter by selecting a minimum allowable star rating.

Setting Up Bluetooth6

② Select Setup.

*On Android devices, you will need to make your phone visible to searching devices.

③ Select Bluetooth.

Connecting a phone through BluetoothBluetooth connection required for: 1. Phone use through the BeSpoke Premium Audio System. 2. Android phone use with aha features of BeSpoke Premium Audio System.

④ Select Add New Device.

⑤ Select Search for Bluetooth Devices.*

⑥ Select a phone to connect BeSpoke to.

⑦ On your phone, select Pair when the pair request message appears.

① On your phone, make sure Bluetooth is on.

⑧ Select Accept on the BeSpoke screen to complete connection.

A pairing message will appear on the BeSpoke screen.

⑨ After pairing has been confirmed, your phone and BeSpoke will both show they are Connected.
