• Clean the outside of your Cordless LED Salt or Pepper Mill with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the device in water or any other liquid, • Store your Cordless LED Salt or Pepper Mill in a dry place. • If you will not be using the Cordless LED Salt or Pepper Mill for an extended period of time, please remove the batteries.

MAINTENANCE

Use the thumb adjustment screw to adjust the coarseness of your seasoning (clockwise = fine, counter-clockwise is coarse).

[NOTE: Before using this device on food, test your device over a plate or napkin to check the coarseness of your seasoning. When you are satisfied with the grinding, you may use it on your food.]

ADJUSTING THE COARSENESS OF SEASONINGS

1. Remove the top cap to expose the grinder.2. Turn the device upside down to start the grinding process. The grinder and the LED light will turn on automatically. [NOTE: If the device does not turn on automatically, the lock button may be pressed. Press the lock button once to “unlock” the device and begingrinding. [NOTE: Use the lock button to prevent the unit from dispensing seasonings by accident.]

TIP: If the device becomes clogged during use, gently shake the mill to dislodge grounds from the grinder.

OPERATION

1. Hold the device with one hand on the base and one hand on the clear chamber. Twist the clear chamber counterclockwise to unlock.

2. Gently pull the clear chamber straight up and out of the base.3. Separate the motor housing from the clear chamber by pulling the two pieces apart. [NOTE: Do not twist.] 4. Insert 4 AA batteries into the battery slots and set the motor housing aside.5. Holding the clear chamber upside down (so that the opening is pointed upward) add salt or pepper. [NOTE: Only coarse sea salt can be used, as the use of rock salt can damage the device.]

6. Reconnect the clear chamber and the motor housing. To do this, align the two small metal wires with the two silver contact points and slide the two parts together gently. Again, do not twist.

7. Place the clear chamber/motor housing back into the base. Twist the clear chamber clockwise to lock it into place.
