Setup
Fill the reservoir
The removable reservoir is translucent for you to see the water levels.
1. Fillthereservoirwithfivelitersofsteriledistilledwater.Donotfillpastthefilllinetoavoidwateroverflow.
2. If you remove the reservoir from thecontrollertofillitwithsteriledistilledwater,replaceitbygentlyloweringthereservoirbackintoposition.Makesurethatitissecure.
Power on1. Plugthepowercordintoawalloutlet.2. TaptheStand-bybuttontostarttheproduct.

• Always use sterile distilled water or water that has been passedthroughafilterlessthanorequalto0.22micronswiththisproduct.
• Alwaysfillthereservoirwithroomtemperaturesteriledistilled water to reduce the risk of burn.
• Donotoverfillthereservoirtoavoidtheriskofwaterspillageandfall.

TherearetwoconnectortypesforStryker’sthermaltransferdevices:Clik-Titeandcolderstyle.
Pre-filling the thermal transfer devices
1. Openalloftheclampsontheconnectorhoseandthermaltransfer device.
2. Makesurethatthecontrollerispowered.
3. TaptheManualmodebutton.4. TapConfirm.5. Selectawatertemperaturethatalignswithyourtargetpatienttemperature.Allowthewatertoflowfromthecontrollerintothethermal transfer device until full.
6. TapConfirm.
Connecting patient temperature probe• AlignthereddotontheReusableAdapterCable(B)tothecontroller(A) probeportAorB.
• Connecttheplug(C)tothepatienttemperatureprobe.

• Insertthereusablepatienttemperatureoutputcableintothepatienttemperatureoutputport,located in between the Probe A andProbeBports.

DisinfectingDisinfect the internal water circuit and hoses every 14 daysUsetheBruCleanTbCdisinfectanttabletsbyBrulin(EPAregistrationnumber71847-2-106)beforefirstuse,atleastevery14days,andbeforestorage.BruCleanTbChasbeenvalidatedforinternalwatercircuitdisinfection.Makesurethatyoufollowthedisinfectantmanufacturer’sguidelinestoavoidtheriskofinjury.Failuretofollowthedisinfectant’sinstructions may void your warranty.
Caution!• Alwaysusesteriledistilledwaterorwaterthathasbeenpassedthroughafilterlessthanorequalto0.22micronswiththisproduct.
• Do not disinfect the internal water system with a thermal transfer device attached as this may cause a leak.
• Donotusebleachoranyothercleaningordisinfectantagentsfor internalcircuits.Thiscouldresultindamagetotheproduct.Onlyuseapproveddisinfectanttablets.
