BrightLink Interaction Three interactive modes are available: Whiteboard mode Use one or two interactive pens to write on the projected “whiteboard.” You can insert images from a thumbdrive or scanner and save, print, or email your whiteboard “pages,” without connecting a computer. Annotation mode Easily switch between sources and add notes to your projected content. Capture your screens, then save, print, or email the images with annotations. You can even split the screen to annotate on two images at the same time. Interactive computer mode Use the interactive pen as a mouse to navigate, select, and scroll though content from your computer. Split the screen and interact with two projected images. You can do even more if you install Easy Interactive Tools on your computer. 1 TurningonandCalibratingtheProjector

Toturnontheprojector,presstheredororangepowerbuttonontheremotecontrol,controlpad,or

ontheprojectoritself.

Calibrationcoordinatesthepositionofthepenwiththelocationofyourannotations.Yourprojectormayalreadybecalibrated.Ifnot,followtheinstructionsbelow:

1 Tocalibrateautomatically,presstheUserbuttonontheremotecontrol.Youseethefollowing:

2 PressEntertoselectYes.Apatternappears.

3 Waituntilcalibrationiscomplete.

Ifyouseeamessagethatcalibrationfailed,orthepenpositionandcursorlocationdon’tmatch,youcancalibratemanually.PresstheMenubuttonontheremotecontrol,thenselectExtended menu > Easy Interactive Function > Manual CalibrationandpressEnter.Followtheinstructionsonthescreentocalibratemanually.

• Toturnonthepen,slidethepowerswitch.Thegreenlightcomesonbriefly.Ifthebatteryislow,thelightflashes.

• Holdthepenperpendiculartotheboard,asshownbelow.Donotcovertheblacksectionofthepen.

Note:Thepensturnoffautomaticallyafterabout20minutesofinactivity.Slidetheswitchtoturnthepenbackon.

2 UsingthePensandtheControlPad

Theprojectorcamewith2pensthathavedifferentcoloredends,orangeandblue.MakesureoneAAbatteryisinstalledineachpen.

3 UsingWhiteboardMode

• Toprintanimageorseriesofimages,selectthePrinticon(orpressthePrintbuttononthe

remotecontrolorcontrolpad).Makesureasupportedprinterisconnectedtothecontrolpad(ortoyournetwork).

• Toemailanimageorseriesofimages,selecttheEmailicon.Beforeyoucanemail,youneed

tosetmailserveroptionsusingtheprojector’sExtendedmenu.SeetheonlineUser’s Guideforinstructions.

Youcanusethepenstodraworwriteontheprojectionsurface.

• Toscanapaperdocumentandimportit,selecttheScanicon.Makesureasupportedall-in-one

deviceisconnectedtothecontrolpad(ortoyournetwork),thenplaceadocumentonthescannerglassorintheautomaticdocumentfeeder.

• Todisplaythumbnailimagesofthepagesinthecurrentsession,selectthepageonthebottomtoolbar.Usethearrowsordragthepentoscrollthroughthepages.

PresstheWhiteboardbuttonontheremotecontrolorcontrolpad.Youseethefollowingtoolbars:

2 PressthePen Modebuttonontheremotecontrolorselectthe Pen Modeicononthescreen,thenselectthe Mouseicon.

Youcanusethepenasamousetointeractwiththeprojectedimage.

• Toleft-click,tapontheboard.

• Todouble-click,taptwice.

• Toright-click,presstheboardwiththepenforabout3seconds.

• Toclickanddrag,tapanddragwiththepen.

• Tomovethecursor,hoverovertheboardwithouttouchingit.
