Definition: The steady pulse in music

BEAT is the steady pulse in the music and COUNT is how we

measure the beat in the music.

to separate music into measures

Double Bar LineDefinition: Two straight lines used to

mark the end of a piece of music

MeasureDefinition: area between bar lines that contains notes and

rhythms

Music StaffA music staff has FIVE lines and FOUR spaces

The treble clef indicates notes in a higher range.
