Questions 24-25 - spelling Questions 26-30 - similar to questions 1-4 Questions 31-40 - comprehension questions based on a story, label etc.

Paper 2, which has subjective questions, contains three sections. A total of 40 marks has beenallocated for this whole paper.

Section 1 asks the students to describe a picture in 5 sentences. This question bears 10points.

Section 2 has two questions. The student is given 3 choices of items, packages, etc., eachwith their own pros and cons. In the first question, the student has to correctly fill in the

details of the items mentioned in a table. In the second question, the student is given asituation that involves the three items (birthday party, movie with friend, etc.) and has topick one of the three items and write a paragraph about why he chose it. Question onebears 10 points and Question two bears 5 points. Section 2 can also have anotice/advertisement and another paragraph is given at the bottom, related to thenotice/advertisement which the person must fill in the blanks given there by using theinformation from the notice/advertisement, which is why it is sometimes called"Information Transfer"

Section 3 contains 3 or 4 pictures that tell a story. Below each picture, words are given toguide the student. The student is to write an essay using all the words given in any orderthey like. This section is worth 15 points.

Dialogue: Alex is talking to the new manager and his assitant. Notice how they introduce

themselves:

Alex: Hi! My name is Alex Litterman, the new manager.

William:Hi! I'm William O'Brian. Nice to meet you, Mr AlexLitterman.

John: William, please meet Mr Steve Lynch, my assistant

Walt Disney was born on December 5, 1901. Disney became one of the best-known motionpicture producers in the world. He is particularly noted for being a film producer and a popularshowman, as well as an innovator in animation and theme park design.

Disney is famous for his contributions in the field ofentertainment during the 20th century. His first successwas through the series, Oswald the Lucky Rabbitwhichwas created by the Disney studio for Charles Mintz ofUniversal Studios. When Disney asked for a larger budgetfor his popular Oswald series, Mintz refused and Disneyhad to quit. Later, Disney and his brother Roy O. Disneystarted from scratch and co-founded Walt DisneyProductions, now known as The Walt Disney Company.Today, this company has annual revenues of approximatelyU.S. $35 billion. This succes is largely due to a number of

the world's most famous fictional characters he and hisstaff created includingMickey Mouse, a character forwhich Disney himself was the original voice.

Disney won 26 Academy Awards out of 59 nominations, including a record four in one year,giving him more awards and nominations than any other individual. He is also the namesake forDisneylandand Walt Disney World Resorttheme parks in the United States, as well as theinternational resorts in Japan, France, and China.

Disney died of lung cancer in Burbank, California, on December 15, 1966. The following year,construction began on Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. His brother Roy Disney inaugurated
