Asked on 16 September 2010 MS DARLING ASKED THE MINISTER FOR TOURISM AND FAIR TRADING (MR LAWLOR) — QUESTION: Will the Minister list the funding amounts and community groups in the Sandgate Electorate that have received grants from the Gambling Community Benefit Fund from 2006 to 2009? ANSWER: Between the period 1 January 2006 to 31 December 2009, 62 applications within the Sandgate electorate were successful for a Gambling Community Benefit Fund grant with more than $1.3 million approved. Please see the attached report which details: the name of the organisation the date the grants were allocated the purpose for each grant the approved amount.
