Question 4 Who is my Target Audience? This person represents my Target Audience well, She is a female and My target audience is for both genders she looks about 18/19 as well so that fits my target audience too. Also looking at the mise en scene of the image small details like the fact she is wearing hoop earrings, leather and a beanie all mixed together to create a very urban look. A big stereotype of Grime music fans are that they are all black/mixed race although obviously not true if I am looking at The generic stereotype for my Target Audience she fits it perfectly. Also little details like the background of the image having mates around her and everyone being outside in the streets is also a stereotype of youths and lifestyle related to grime music fans. Although it is a small detail her facial expression looks like the stereotypical youth like cocky, arrogant a little bit of swag ect.

Question 4 Who is my Target Audience? This person represents my

Target Audience well, She is a female and My target audience is for both genders she looks about 18/19 as well so that fits my target audience too.

Page 2: Question 4 who is my target audience

This Person fits my target audience by gender because My target audience is for both sexes.

He is wearing a chain in the image and a snapback both of these things contribute to his overall urban look which shows that he fits my target audience as grime is very much an urban based music genre.

His age also contribute to why he fits into my target audience because he looks early twenties and my target audience is teens into students so uni students fit into that roughly 16-23.

Ethnically as well he fits the grime as it is a BIG stereotype that all Grime music fans are Black, and this stems from RnB genres having similar stereotypes.

The way he is outside in what looks to be a backstreet also conforms to the stereotype that all grime music fans are out in streets all the time which relates to lifestyle associated with my Target Audience.

Page 3: Question 4 who is my target audience

It is weird to explain but basically anyone who doesn’t conform to the “normal Look” of a teen, talking mainly about dress sense and music taste and someone that looks alternative and a bit different and roughed is also part of my Target Audience because as style evolves so does the Target Audience and the rap/hip hop scene (Grime) is slowly becoming indie because it is unusual for the “Main stream” people to like and listen to the genre

She is alternative and things like her leather backpack that is studded is very much a grime/urban style, so is layering jewllery e.g her ring stacking.

She looks to me late teen early twenties which is within my Target Audience age range.

Again being out in the street and Brickwork behind her represents Urban/street feel which goes perfectly with the stereotypical lifestyle of my genres fans.

She is also female which makes her fit into my Target Audience.

Page 4: Question 4 who is my target audience

This represents the younger side of my Target Audience, A school boy about last year in High school year 11 15/16 years of age.

His earrings and chain represent him as an urban person so does the hoodie he wears.

Lifestyle is shown by having the big earrings and chain could mean that he leads a privileged life and likes to have the “Bling” which again suits my Target Audience

Looking at the mise en scene Having a brick wall behind him shows him to be Urban too.

He is a boy so it fits my Target Audience because my Grime magazine is Targeted at both males and females.

Ethnicity he is also Mixed race so that fits with the stereotype that is held and the belief that all people that listen to grime music (U.K Hip hop) are all black or have different ethnicity in them.

Page 5: Question 4 who is my target audience

Wearing camouflage print and a beanie is something Ifeel some of Target population would wear as that is currently a big fashion craze for “Hipsters” and some of my Target population will defiantly be hipsters.

Having the background of London time is very important to this as The Grime music genre all stems from London and a place called Bow.

The person also fits my Target Audience because he looks quite young around early twenties late teens.

He also is male which fits my TagetAudience.

And he looks like he could belong to another ethnic minority.

He has a cigarette in his hand so that also could represent my Target Population as that is stereotypically what “youths” like to do.

Page 6: Question 4 who is my target audience

Target Audience; she is female and she looks young definately late teens or early twenties.

She looks very alternative and cool and her fashion sense looks like she would listen to grime music

She is also from an ethnic minority and stereotypically grime music fans are not white.

She looks quite rich like she leads a good lifestyle because she has big sunglasses on and she has a lot of jewellery and she has a lot of silver cross chains on her neck so she looks quite urban,

She also wears a top so you can see her bra peaking through, rough and ragged type appearances and outfit choices like this are generally linked to the grime music genre.

And also the position she is holding on the image, shows attitude and that she is standing out from the crowd.
