HOW DID YOU USE MEDIA TECHNOLOGIES IN THE CONSTRUCTION AND RESEARCH, PLANNING AND EVALUATION STAGES?

CONSTRUCTION AND RESEARCH

For both my digipak and poster I had to use the internet to research into the conventions of the POP genre. I used websites such as Google and POP band’s websites to find their real digipaks and poster’s.

For both my digipak and poster I constructed them on Adobe Photoshop. This software let me use my own images and change the lighting and colours as well as adding in text and images to make it look just like a real product. I was also able to make my own backgrounds and put them on so it was not just plain for both my digipak and poster.

PLANNING Making power points is a good way of

presenting my work as I can use as many slides as I need to describe exactly what I found when planning what to put on my digipak and poster, I could then upload them to Slide share and then on to my blog for everyone to see.

I was able to present my images I would use on a power point so they were big enough to see

I used a Fujifilm camera to take pictures on a photo shoot of the band to use on my digipak and poster. This was a good camera to use as it was high quality and simple to upload to the computer and then edit.

EVALUATION For my evaluation of my poster and digipak I

filmed my target audience giving me feedback on a Panasonic HD camera and then uploaded it to vid me up and then on to my blog for people to view and for me to find it easily to take the feedback.

For my evaluation of the digipak and poster I also produced a questionnaire in which I sent out to my target audience to fill in so I could then receive feedback, this was a good way of receiving feedback as it was quick and easy for them to fill in and useful for me to change my products.
