What if our film Psychosis was distributed by a major company?Our film Psychosis would be completely different if it was distributed by a major company. For example, the production would’ve been different as the film would be more focused on the horror side and it would focus on scaring the audience than focusing on the main character having a mental health issue. The production of the film would have had a much larger budget meaning we could’ve filmed in a better location, used more expensive costumes & props, and if the budget was large enough celebrities would be involved in the film. This would’ve made the film look more professional and it would have a unique selling point.

Brink VisionBrink vision is the last real independent film distributor. They release films that aren’t distributed by conglomerates. They distribute gory, disturbing and sometimes inappropriate films, giving them a unique style. The company claims their films vary from “thought provoking docs to critically acclaimed dramas to blood curdling horror films to outstanding micro-budget cinema”. Our film is about a mental illness, if a media institution such as this would distribute our film it would be more disturbing, meaning that conglomerates such as Disney wouldn't be interested in our film, Psychosis.

Brink vision Films One of the films that Brink vision have distributed is “Shadow Zombie”. The film chronicles the main character, Kim’s world to see through to the human core of a drug addict or clinically depressed clown. This film also represents a character with mental health disorders, similar to our film Psychosis.Another film distributed by Brink Vision is “Stress Position”. Also a psychological horror, this relates to our film as our main character has mental disorders. however the two friends involved are inflicting pain on each other, a key difference between this film and Psychosis.
