Awesome August to you! What a whirl-wind of events we find ourselves coming down from. The end of the Mary Kay year is full of excitement, energy, passion and sleepless nights. Then we move into Seminar 2014, our 50th Anniversary Celebration and if you have ever taken the opportunity to attend you know all too well that it too is full of excitement, energy, passion, sleepless nights and desire to grow personally as well as in your business.

So, now where are we going? It might feel like we aren’t moving anywhere too quickly – almost like we are in neutral! We still have goals (personal, unit and area) and desires of the heart, but the same passion and pace isn’t necessarily driving us right now. And guess what? THAT IS OKAY!

It’s about a calm poise that allows for new information and new possibilities to emerge before taking further action.

So … what are you going to do if you in fact find yourself in the state of neutral? Don’t panic – allow yourself time to take in everything around you. Re-evaluate, regroup and restart your engine. Come to meeting, attend Mary Kay events that will fill-up your spirit, soul and brain, seek out mentors who you would like to emulate and allow new possibilities to grow within in you. Remember to always keep Mary Kay Ash’s words close to your heart too: God first, family second and career third. Before you know it – there will be a cloud of dust behind you!

Neutral might be okay for some time, but let’s not stay there long! Let’s get moving up to red, cars, stars and new director adventures! Rev up your engines and let’s get ready to RACE! Your life is what you make of it, this is YOUR journey and the time is NOW to seize it and make it amazing! Let's make this an amazing month and an amazing start as we GO for the Gold and race to complete our best year yet at Seminar 2014!!
