Lord A Lord is known as a member of nobility. They carry titles such as Dukes and Marquees.
Guards Guards have the responsibility of guarding the
official royal residences in the United Kingdom.
Samuel Pepys was a British Member of Parliament, and Chief Secretary to the Admiral. He is famous for his diary, which provides an accurate picture of life in England in the
17th century.
Thomas Bludworth was Lord Mayor of London at the time of the Great Fire of London. His involvement in the disaster came under much criticism, due to his
apparent dithering, cowardice and lack of leadership.
Interesting fact about the Great Fire of London
The fire began in a bakery in Pudding Lane.
In 1666, a huge fire that started in a tiny bakery burned down most of London. The fire was so big that
it was called the Great Fire of London.
The fire lasted four days and burned down over 13,000 homes.

This term we will be exploring the question: How can following a religion help me in my day to
day life?
We will be answering this by exploring all about ourselves. We will be thinking about the feelings
and emotions we have, key people in our lives and why they’re significant, the importance of
listening and following rules (exploring this through different religious rules) and how
people’s beliefs can determine the actions they take.
What are invasion games?
Teams score when they move an implement into the opposing
team’s zone and successfully attack that team’s goal or target
area. Tactical problems related to invasion games include
maintaining possession, attacking and/or defending a goal,
winning the ball, etc. Examples of invasion games include
basketball, football, rugby and hockey.
Guard the pin
Players stand in a circle
formation.
A pin is placed in the middle of
the circle and one player is
selected to guard the pin.
The teacher gives a foam ball
to the players in the circle.
Players may pass the ball to
each other until they have an
open shot to knock the pin
down.
Once the pin is knocked down,
the guard may return to the
circle and a new guard is
selected.

Rhythm: A strong, regular, repeated pattern of movement or sound
This term in Art we will be looking at the
work of two famous artists. The first
being Jackie Denning and the second
Stephen Wiltshire. Jackie Denning is
famous for using printing to create her
art work. Stephen Wiltshire uses a
sketching technique to create his
masterpieces.
