Quayside Fabrication provides quality fabrication & design services to high specification, working within tight deadlines. We provide onshore and offshore repair and maintenance services and work globally with large Oil & Gas Companies, Subsea Contractors and Shipping Companies.

As well as having a range of equipment and products for hire, we make bespoke products and equipment, from containers to large complex structures. We have the capacity at our premises in Colpy, Aberdeenshire, to quickly set up efficient production lines for large quantities and a quick turnaround and have ample storage on-site for clients’ use. Our own in-house drawing office works closely with our highly skilled team of multi-coded welders, giving us confidence in delivering high quality output, to specification within a safe environment.

Our projects team manages each job from start to finish, ensuring a smooth process by working closely with our clients, suppliers and staff. Quayside Fabrication holds and owns its own welding procedures, which are prudently followed. Traceability is an integral part of what we do; our project engineers are responsible for QA testing, certification and final documentation. We have a Quality Management System which is DNV approved and allows us to capture vital data to support final documentation. Our clients have access to a full documentation pack for each and every job we deliver.

QUAYSIDE FABRICATIONPROFILING SERVICES

Our Messer unit has a 260 AMP Hypertherm plasma head and is capable of cutting up to 38mm thick Mild Steel, 32mm thick Stainless Steel and 25mm thick Aluminium. It is fitted with two gas heads capable of cutting up to 300mm Mild Steel. The profiler benefits from having True Hole Technology, providing precision when cutting holes with 100% accuracy, leaving a truly clean cut.

We can also offer a complete Turnkey package including drawing and nesting services using our AUTOCAD and OMNIWIN software packages which allows us to find economical and plate saving solutions while nesting.

Our highly-skilled workforce can be deployed quickly and efficiently to provide Supervision, Welding, Fabrication and Installation services for all types of fabrication jobs, from small frames to large complex subsea structures.

We are strategically based in Aberdeenshire to cover the main ports in the North East of Scotland and we have a strong presence in Aberdeen, Peterhead and Montrose, Lerwick and Rosyth. We also cover all ports in the UK for vessel mobilisation and demobilisation contracts with 24/7 coverage, 365 days a year.

Quayside Fabrication is well organised. We hold large stocks of steel on-site, for easy access. From initial phone call, we can develop a full project plan and quickly organise drawings, steelwork, plant, workforce, transportation and documentation for a swift turnaround. Each charge-hand knows exactly what they have to do ahead of arrival on-site. Our team is smart and we move fast.
