Activities

Many activities have been conducted in the past half-year. These activities include scrapbook designing competition, poster making competition, and book jacket designing contest. The students participated enthusiastically and many bagged prizes. The library organized a book fair with the National Book Trust of India.

World Book Day was celebrated on the 23rd of April 2014 in the

Vidyalaya. The celebration, of course, was organized by the Library, thanks to our librarian. The celebration included a skit and many competitions.

Readers’ club’s gifts to

underprivileged children The library organized a

donation program towards the

orphaned Children of Gopali

Ashram on 9th May, 2014 as

wishes for their successful life.

About three boxes of stationary

materials were donated by the

students of the school. The

stationary items included

Notebooks, Pencil boxes and

writing stuff.

Project: Read with your

Kids

The target of this program was to make the parents of the students of class 5 and 6 to read with their children for at least half an hour a day. The program was a grand success and was proved useful for the children’s vocabulary.
