The all-new Quantum Smoke Speed Freak baitcast reel features a screaming-fast 8.1:1 gearratio—which rips in 35 inches (89cm) of line for every turn of the handle. It also features Quantum’snew ‘PTX’ frame, designed to add rigidity while reducing overall weight, which is just 6.4oz (181g).

The Speed Freak baitcast reel includes the improved new CSC2 drag—an advanced system thatuses a stack of carbon fibre, stainless steel and ceramic washers to deliver a silky smooth andimpressive 25lb (11.3kg) of drag power. The reel design features 10 bearings and one anti-reversebearing, plus a lightweight aluminium frame and gear-side cover, which removes quickly for simplemaintenance.
