Your tasks• Contract and Variation Management with regards to all clients and subcontractors involved in ENERCON wind farms • Cost monitoring and controlling during project realization• Commercial cost and activity accounting• Preparation of offers for additional project works and services (electrical and civil works)• Support the project team in terms of commercial issues during the whole project lifecycle, while adhering to company policies and procedures
Your profi le• 3rd level qualifi cation in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a strong knowledge of Claim / Project / Contract Management in the construction industry• Previous experience working with SAP is a distinct advantage • Profi ciency in all MS Offi ce packages• Have a positive, pro-active approach to working in a team environment along with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills• Independent and self-motivated working style• A valid Safe Pass Card and full, clean driving license • Willingness to travel both within Ireland and internationally
The Commercial Manager is a member of our project team together with the project manager and the electrical works manager. The team is focused in optimizing the project realization in matters of time, cost and quality. The main sub works during project realization are: logistics, installation and commissioning of the wind energy converter as well as construction of roads, crane platforms, foundations and electrical wind farm infrastructure. The position will involve an introduction period, approx. 3 months, at our headquar-ters in Aurich, Germany (German language an advantage, but not essential)
