If f(x) =( 5^x+1)/(5^x-1), f(x) is an even or an odd function?

• If f(x) = -f(-x), then we call it odd function, and if f(x) = f(-x) then we call it even function. Let us take the value of X as +1 and -1. When we take + 1, the solution is 6/4, but when we take -1, the solution is -6/4. Thus 6/4 = - (-6/4); Thus in this question, this is odd function.


If f(x) = x^2 +2x^4, is F(x) an even or an odd function?

• Let us take values of X as +1 and -1.

• When we take it as +1, our answer is :

=1+2 =3 and when we take -1, our answer is 1+2 =3. Thus in both cases we get the same answer. Thus it is even function.


F(x) =( q*(X-P))/(Q-P) + (P*(X-Q))/(P-Q), Then what is f(p) +

f(q)? • Let us take x = p,

• Q * (0)/(q-P) + p(P-q)/(p-q)

• solution is P

• Let us take X = Q, and solution is q.

• Thus answer is (P + Q) answer.


Y = F(x) = (px-q) / (qx-p), then what is the value of X?

• Options: F(Y), f(-y), f(1/y)

• If we take the value of X as 1 and take any two random values for X and Y.

• Let us take X as 1 and P and Q as 3 and 2. We get -1 as Y. Now let us put -1 as y and solve as F(Y), we get 1, thus X = F(Y).

• we get the same answer as when we take F(Y), thus this is the answer.


F(x) = x^2- x, then what is f(h +1)?

• Let us take X = H+1.

• We get : h^2+2h+1-h-1

=h^2+h

=h(H+1) answer.


If f(x) = (1-x) / (1+x) then f(f(1/x)) is equal to ?

• Let us take the value of X as 2. We get

• -1/3 in f(x). And we get 1/3 as f(1/x) also.

• Now let us put X = (1/3) and get the answer: 2/3 / 4/3 or ½ as answer, which is 1/x . Answer.
