Principal’s Report
Congratulations to all the students that performed
on Saturday night as a curtain raiser to the Big
Merino. I heard you did a fantastic job, I’m sorry I
couldn’t be there to see it. Well done to Sarah
Ryan for organising the night to raise money for
the Quandialla Hall and a big thank you to Mr
Pudya for helping our students out with their
performance.
Thanks to Isabel Pereira for coming to our school
for work experience. You did a fantastic job in the
K-2 room, the students and Mr Ferris loved
having you.
Tomorrow we are going to join in pyjama day with
the preschool. Everybody can wear their warm
pyjamas, if slippers are worn please bring other
shoes for going out to play.
We are going have Taco Thursday as a big thank
you to all the students for their hard work, great
behaviour and resilience shown during semester
one. Students will be able to wear mufti and eat
tacos for lunch. Thanks to Suzi and Mrs Millar for
organising the tacos.

NSW residents to replace their smoke alarms and
check that their friends and family do so too. Fire
and Rescue NSW recommends that every house
in NSW be fitted with the latest photoelectric
smoke alarm.
It’s been a decade since NSW mandatory smoke
alarm legislation was passed, which means
millions of smoke alarms across NSW are now
reaching their ‘best before’ date and are due to be
replaced. As part of Fire and Rescue NSW’s
‘ReAlarm your home against fire’ awareness
campaign, NSW Fire and Rescue is asking all
NSW residents to replace their smoke alarms,
and take the time to check in on 10 friends or
family members to ensure they update their
smoke alarms too. For more information, visit
