Outlines
There is an important correlation between quality and maintenance.
maintenance management has become an essential part of quality systems.
It is an investment rather than cost.
Improving the quality of maintenance will lead to improved efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintaining perfect equipment to maintain perfect quality of products.
focus on the expansion of maintenance perspective through integrate it with other production programs.
Introduction
Quality of maintenance is define by Japanese Institute of Plant Maintenance ( JIPM) as: create the conditions that prevent and control defects in the processes and systems to get to the Zero defects stage.
Definition
Maintenance quality applied in two phases:
1) Phase I: Reactive reaction or Quality Control phase.
2) Phase 2 : the initiative or quality assurance stage. use of preventive, predictive and proactive
maintenance strategies.
detecting potential failures before they occur.
Implementation
the equipment should be free from defects and under quality control.
focus on prevention of upstream. focus on the entrance of the errors
prevention. Divides the defects into main groups effective application of quality assurance
agent
Maintenance quality policies
to preserve the value of the asset over time.
to run the operation the longest possible time without breakdowns.
keep the equipment maintained and fully functional at the time of customer request.
Reducing costs of maintenance.
Objectives
First : information for product
1) number of the defects and their impact on the product.
2) the amount of iterative combinatorial algorithms of defects in each stage of the measurement.
The required information
Second: Special operations information
1) operating conditions for each sub-process.
2) prepared for the situation or conditions for the implementation of sub-module & the situation or the circumstances that accompanied a defect.
Some justification for the application of Total quality management system, including comprehensive :-
1) Link between quality & productivity.2) Quality system is comprehensive in all areas.3) Global quality system, which is a feature of modern times.4) The feasibility of some prevailing administrative systems5) The success of the application of the system comprehensive quality in many educational institutions.
We found that there are many variables and
factors that affect the maintenance problem in our university, but we select the most common variables which are: doors, tables, lighting ,windows, chairs ,projectors, fans, central heating ,blackboard, internet, curtains, water taps ,wall paint ,fire alarm, computers in the labs ,and fire cabinets.

Running the university projects and prepare the necessary reports.
Manages the maintenance operations projects and provide the requirements of all faculties.
Monitoring the quality control department.
Prepare annual plans for preventive maintenance.
Notes and Recommendations
Suggest ways to address some of the operational errors that may appear after use.
Mobilize the daily reports that prepared by management department.
Follow-up after maintenance problem and send a message for maintenance department to tell them that the problem has been solved.
Continuous check to make sure the presence of the necessary tools for the maintenance process.
Receipt the maintenance requests and do maintenance according to priorities.
Implementation of periodic inspection of all electrical equipment .
Create a method in which the student can submit Their complaints (zajel icon).
They must Provide technical staff for maintenance in every college, who are coached and ready to deal with any operational or software problem, and they must Coordinate between the construction, maintenance and management of security and safety to continue the work between maintenance engineers and safety staff in order to accelerate the reporting of any problems or incidents within the university framework,
Conclusion
and The university administration should pursue all complaints received through various communication channels to listen to students voted on the maintenance requirements.
The expected results from our project is:
Optimized organization and management. Improved accessibility to information and
data. Data sustainability. Enhanced data updating. Equipment traceability.
